I spent way longer on this than I planned to, but I learned a lot just from messing around with it. I might do some of my own drawings of these characters? but don't get your hopes up.

mark and ethan and kind of the textbook definition of opposites attract if you think about it.

mark's an introvert, ethan's an extrovert.

mark hates touching, ethan thrives off of it.

mark presents himself as a "manly man", ethan's "soft boi".

they're the red and blue, the black and white, and that's how they always have been.

mark takes the role of the mentor, ethan the mentee.

aside from videos, they seem to have very little in common.

mark almost graduated college, reads for fun, is learning a second language, and enjoys learning. ethan, however, hasn't read a book since high school, hates math, generally more creative than anything.

there's no point to this post, I'm just ignoring my science class.

to be clear: mark's reblog was clearly teasing, he wasn't mad about the post, and people just took it way to far. if this is how you (meaning anyone who says that mark reblogging that was irresponsible and rude) are going to perceive fandom/creator interactions, especially on this platform and in mark's fan base, you need to reevaluate. do not put a joking interaction that (because of other people) became a bad thing, on mark, or he'll stop interacting at all, which beside the memes, I know none of us actually want.
