I feel like so many problems people have with tv at the moment could be solved if we just went back to the good ole days of 20 episodes a season that’s just sixty percent filler and character development. Give the people what they want- less condensed story and more meaningless shenanigans

Osha, baby, if a man heals your injuries, puts you under the covers, makes you food, kills your jedi family, takes you on vacation to an unknown planet, that’s a high value man right there.

Vaccination rates are about to plummet as they may no longer be free and there's insurance weirdness all over trying to figure them out.
Paxlovid, same - some places cover it; some won't.
And of course cities and transit aren't requiring masks anymore. Not even in health care facilities.

MANNY JACINTO as QIMIR / THE STRANGER in "THE ACOLYTE"
"Students who enrolled at a fake university in Michigan set up by federal immigration agents have the right to sue the U.S. government, a federal court has ruled" from 2015 to 2019 hundreds of immigrant students with legal visas paid tuition at University of Farmington in Farmington Hills believing it was a real college but it was a fake one created by undercover agents of ICE. ICE kept all the money ($11,000 a year for each student), arrested and deported at least 250 students. abolish ICE!
WTF???
So this is actually not surprising at all given the USA's history of deportation of people of color (Japanese internment camps, Mexican repatriation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexican_Repatriation, the trail of tears etc).
but like yeah I'm gonna be watching this closely.

The hardest thing to believe about The Hunger Games is that an authoritarian government in North America would invest in high speed rail.
