I gotta say, I love the duality between Arbiter and Chief (plus Cortana) both 100% down to do insane, death-defying things, but for entirely different reasons

I feel like Chief should have gotten promoted by now but out-of-universe and perhaps even in-universe he’s just so know as ‘THE master chief’ and ‘chief’ that it’s just weird to everyone to change that, like it’s less a rank more a title now.
