the gay vampire movie was incredible but it was homophobic to me specifically by not letting her go monster mode. so I’m making my own dreams come true

The Lost Boys (1987)
what movie do y’all know front to back like it doesn’t even have to necessarily be Good,, it’s just something you’ve seen so many times that the dialogue is printed into the very core of your being
I love how The Lost Boys highkey attempts to be a cautionary tale about the dangers of hanging out with some punk kids and it backfired magnificently because every viewer ever is like ‘fuck I want to be a Lost Boy’
happy pride month lost boys fans

i would absolutely love to have a conversation with whatever gay intern wrote this description for the Lost Boys VHS back in 1987, because I have some thoughts:
- the way it says "Sam likes comic books. Michael likes girls" seems to imply that Sam... doesn't like girls? canon gay Sam ftw!
- The way Michael goes from liking girls to ghouls is so funny because the "ghouls" in question are just a bunch of hot vampire dudes. i mean, just say he's having his bisexual awakening and be done with it lmao
- a+ vampire puns
- "packed with heart-pounding terror, rib-tickling laughs and body-gyrating rock" i want that written on my tombstone
