in psychology yesterday we were talking about children/teenagers and what counts as a healthy relationship with their parents and my teacher said that a lot of the time when kids get hurt they don't need much more than a band-aid and their parent telling them that they're okay, because their parents are a known safe person (in a healthy relationship) and kids value what they say, and I kept thinking about tony's "you're okay" to peter when he was getting dusted
