I absolutely cannot believe that today is the 5yr anniversary since "The Globby Within" premiered. O_O It's still one of my absolute favorite episodes because of how much I love that gelatinous shapeshifter as well as seeing how much BH6 cares about him and vice versa. ^_^<3<3<3 It certainly makes me sad thinking about Globby situation with being unfairly persecuted and losing control of his body to Nega-Globby, but I'm just relieved that this had a happier ending than where it could have gone, especially if BH6 ever doubted his innocence. ;_; ;_; ;_; Globby's just so sweet and cute, and I'm so happy that he proved how much of a true hero he is in this episode, both with saving his friends and not making a big deal out of losing his celebrity status. ^_^ <3<3<3

Now have some Globby hugs to mark the occassion. ^_^<3<3<3

Did anyone else gasp or think "Oh, things are definitely very bad for Globby to refuse a hug from Honey Lemon." O_O ;_; Poor Globby just deals with so much in this episode and definitely needs those hugs. ;_; ;_; ;_; I'm glad Honey Lemon was at least trying to fulfill Felony Carl's request to give Globby a hug for him. <3<3<3

We all knew something was going to happen, but that didn't make this moment any less hilarious or crazy. ;) XD

You give that man all the hugs he needs Baymax, although he truly won't stop worrying and be sad until Globby gets to come home. ;_; ;_; ;_; Poor Felony Carl and Globby. ;_; ;_; ;_; <3<3<3

This is probably one of, if not my favorite, "Darn it" from Globby. He just couldn't catch a break that day. ;) XD

Globby's smile just makes me so happy. ^_^ I love how genuinely happy he is that Hiro is defending him and like "Darn right I was telling the truth!" ^_^ I also find it funny that he's using his arm to shield his eyes from the police lights, but his arm is mostly transparent, so it won't do a lot of good. XD <3<3<3

I always felt so bad for Globby in the scene (as well as the episode in general ;_;), but I do love how this and so many other scenes in this episode showcase how much touch/physical reassurance means to him. I imagine he didn't get much love/hugs from his mom (and potentially dad) growing up, and for months when he first became Globby probably no one wanted to even touch him, which most likely didn't help him to feel better about himself. :/

Felony Carl probably helped though as most likely being the only one to treat him the same regardless of how he looked, but I'm glad he's got plenty of friends now who'll gladly try to offer him comfort. ;)

It’s Better This Way

Globby’s decision to run away to Akuma Island. ;_;

Globby lifted his head upward to see 5 of the 6 people he’d come to care for dearly as they’d shown him genuine kindness, valuing him as a friend and not a tool to use; those who forgave him for his past misdeed and never held it against him, but instead further supported him and showing he could be good at something. The superheroes currently seemed to be consoling Wasabi about his broken vacuum, ranging from telling him “They can just get a new one” to “There, there” with a pat from Baymax. He let out another sigh as he kept a safe distance from them, unsure when the unstable monster inside of him would flare up again.

“So, any objections to Baymax and I going?” Hiro asked, pulling Globby out of his thoughts as he listened more intensely to the conversation.

“Nah, I think we’re good here, or as good as we can be all things considered,” Fred casually answered with a clawed “So-so” gesture.

“Alright. Hey Globby,” the tech genius called out to the reformed mutant, making him raise his head more and go, “Huh?”

“We’re gonna go check in with Honey Lemon. Okay?” Hiro informed him pointing towards the door with a gloved thumb.

“Oh, uh, yeah. Safe flying. Tell her I said hi and give her a hug for me,” Globby requested as he gave a weak smile and waved goodbye.

“I am programmed for hugs. I can give it to her,” Baymax answered, turning now to let Hiro onto his back and preparing his rockets.

1) Whenever I see that scene, I’m like “I’m happy you learned something new, but what are you doing Globby?!” O_O

3) Truly a tough decision. ;) XD I’d rather be called a millennial though than listen to him monologue for possible a long time. :/

Just a little cool observation I noticed is that Globby appears to be ambidextrous, which makes sense in terms of all of his movements being based on his mind and should be able to do almost anything, but to do it legibly means he probably was ambidextrous as Dibs too. :)

1) Disney really just should since they cut “Big Hero 6 The Series” short and no sign of a sequel anytime soon. -_- This could also fall under the “Shut up and take my money” meme too. ;)

2) I think my previous gif of Nega-Globby knocking a bowl of popcorn out of Globby’s hands speaks for itself. -_-

3) I think it’s a legit question and the answer is yes. ;)
