The only sad thing (at least that's what I believe) about the newest Helluva Short is that Blitzø may joke, but he still clearly misses Stolas a lot, which leads me to wonder...

How much time has passed since he saw him at the party? Has it been three days? Or has it actually been a while? What is Stolas even doing, right now? Is he off having fun with the BTB Guy, or was the guy just a one-night stand? What if Stolas is thinking about Blitzø, but can't bring himself to talk to him out of guilt, and is maybe waiting for his beloved imp to call him?

God, I know these shorts were meant to cheer us up while we wait for the next episode, but my god, it is so damn hard knowing these two love each other but because of their own individual f***-ups, they can't seem to bring themselves to talk to each other about what happened.

I just wish they'd hurry and make up!

From the very little we’ve seen of Tiny Stolas’ butler, he seems to care in his own way. They seemed to have a decent relationship. Not close, but about as close as a butler and a ward can get without the butler getting smitted. The butler was the first one Stolas saw on his birthday when he was excited about his new duties and we see the two of them interacting in the S2 trailer for just a moment.

I think, despite the butler unfortunately contributing to Stolas’ C-PTSD, he did as much as he was allowed to do. I don’t think you can take care of a child for 18 years and not care in some capacity.

“Calm yourself young prince” is rightfully lambasted for contributing to Stolas being extremely emotionally stunted. But it could also act as some twisted form of kindness. ‘Calm yourself before your father has to calm you. Calm yourself before someone less kind and understanding as me reminds you of your station.’

I’d like to think the butler listened to Stolas’ little ramblings about his plants without rolling his eyes or scoffing at this weird, lonely kid. I’d like to think that the butler was secretly hoping that Stolas would not go through with the wedding. I’d like to think the butler wanted Stolas to have friends his own age as much as Stolas wanted them.

Maybe the butler is a large part of why Stolas is such a sweetheart. In his very limited way, he could mitigate some of the harsher, even more toxic ideals the rest of the Goetia have. I’d like to think Stolas, at some point in his life, was loved.

Something I actually love about the “Fuck Blitz” party is how it’s more than people just being petty. It’s about people being hurt over someone they genuinely thought they had a connection with and connecting with others over that hurt.

The way I expected Stolas' "I just want someone to care (if I stay or go). I want someone to want me." line to be said to someone else, but he said it to Blitz.

And the way I expected (or at least hoped) Blitz's "I don't wanna be this way, not forever." line to be said to Stolas, but he said it to Verosika...

This episode threw me for so many loops...

If Blitz's "I don't wanna be this way, not forever." line from the trailer isn't Blitz talking to Stolas (at the end of Apology Tour) I'm biting my own foot off, don't test me!!

I mean, I definitely don't expect them to magically get together at the end of Apology, Tour, fixing a relationship like this takes a lot more time than that. All I want is for them to have a much calmer, more level-headed talk that gets them on a bit more equel footing mentally than what Full Moon left them at all.

Like, I just want them to know that their fight from that night came from miscommunicated feelings, not any hatred or ill intent, like how it felt to them in the moment.

Blitzø, I think so very highly of you...

I won’t lie. I did enjoy the last 2 episodes of BH6, but still they just weren’t series finale worthy and I’m disappointed that so many things were left unresolved. Big Hero 6 deserved a better finale. Rest in Peace. 😔
