Executive meddling really hurt the third season of Big Hero 6: The Series.

The change in format to two eleven-minute episodes and the tonal shift to be more comedic were bad ideas.

I finished watching the third season, and my reaction to most episodes in the season after they finished was 'This episode was so dumb. Why did they write this?'

The team of mechanical mascots was good, as was Hardlight returning and the Heathcliff episode, but the rest was not.

I feel like they could have done a lot with how season 2 ended. Wasabi, Honey Lemon, and Gogo graduated and needed to find jobs, Hiro no longer has his friends in college with him and sorta has a girlfriend in Megan, and I heard a rumor that Hardlight was set to be the next arc villain, which would have opened plenty of story opportunities with his holographic tech.

Season 3 wasted a lot of those opportunities.

Ok it's actually really sweet that when Leo finally realized the alerts were about a rampaging mutant his first reaction was to pretty much go and help said mutant, rather than go and attack it.

Verosika is a prime example of the difference between a villain and an antagonist. She is (was?) an antagonist purely because Blitz is the protagonist, literally no other reason. She's not a bad person, she's just rightfully angry after getting her heart broken. It doesn't make her a villain in any way.

He's so vile as a character but his design is damn gorgeous

As somebody who is also a fan of Alastor, I feel that if you like/simp for him, good for you, but you instantly lose all privileges for shaming people who like other antagonists in the Hazbin/Helluva verse.

Yes, Alastor is funny and charming, but he’s also a bloodthirsty cannibalistic serial killer who doesn’t even try to hide the fact that he’s helping out for personal gain.

Again. If you love him, there’s nothing wrong with that. You’re just not allowed to unironically publicly shame or judge people who are fans of other characters such as Striker, Stella, Vox, or even Valentino. (And actually, you shouldn’t do that regardless.)

It’s all FICTIONAL. People are allowed to like characters because they’re not real and fun to watch. Liking evil character’s DOES NOT equal commending their actions.
