Due to current circumstances I am obligated to share this meme I made a month ago

A lil comic based on the amazing fic "Up is Down, Sane is Insane"

I think it's incredibly funny that so much of the series is about how Angel is changing for the better, and how he's learning to be a good person. Makes you think that he'll be the frist to redeem himself. Only for Sir Pentious to be like "nahh"

To be fair Angel has a lot more going on compared to Pentious, as in very deep self hatred, self destructive tendencies and the whole thing with Valentino.

Pentious' problems were easier to tackle: to cure his trust issues, conquering shtick and lack of self confidence he just needed an encouraging environment where he was allowed to show his vulnerability without judgement. Thus he was redeemed quicker (sacrificing yourself for your beloved ones also sped up things quite a bit).

Of course, Sir Pentious redeeming himself first doesn't wipe out all of Angel's progress, but it is still true that our spider demon still has a way to go to fully be free (my personal suggestion: killing a moth would be half the battle!)

The moment Pentious gets busted by Angel, he's standing right in front of Vox's camera.

And then he opens his hood.

Sure, it may just be him flaring his frills in surprise (it wouldn't be the first time he does that).

But I like to believe he's actually trying to use his hood to hide the device, as if that could actually work.

Which would also be in character for him. He's such a goofball. ^^

"I suppose I did get into a little of the old 'Rough-and-Tumble' today, hahaha!"
