  • Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s plan to vote on a repeal of the Affordable Care Act without a replacement ready to go is officially dead, after three Republican senators came out to say they do not support this new path forward.
  • Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska all said they will even vote against debate on the plan, saying doing so would create chaos in the insurance marketplace.
  • That’s enough to put Republicans below the 50 votes needed to advance this new strategy, and puts Republicans back at square one not 24 hours after a previous version of their health care reform bill failed. Read more. (7/18/2017 3:04 PM)

Republicans, how can you NOT have a signed TrumpCare bill after 8 years and controlling the White House, Congress and Senate?

Mitch McConnell couldn’t even get it to the floor of the Senate for a vote.  Republican incompetence is embarrassing. McConnell and his merry band of White men excluded women from crafting their bill. So Susan Collins, Shelley Moore Capito and Lisa Murkowski withheld their votes. Justice is sweet!

How Many Times has Trump Blamed Obama?

Getting sick of Trump’s BS. Trump is the President yet he is constantly scapegoating Obama for his own misery. Today, it’s Obama’s fault for Mike Flynn.

FACTS:

  1. Obama and James Clapper FIRED Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn in April 2014
  2. Trump hires him in Nov. 2016 without vetting him - unless the RT video counts

I really want to know how many times Trump has blamed Obama? Is there someone / site keeping track of this?

What possibly could go wrong 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。

The NNSA is the $12 billion-a-year agency that “maintains and enhances the safety, security, and effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile.” It’s unclear when the two officials will be replaced. Their offices will remain vacant until they are.
As far as I can tell, this is unprecedented—January 20 will mark the first time in the NNSA’s 17-year history that it will exist wholly without its appointed leadership.
Trump’s team hasn’t asked Under Secretary for Nuclear Security Frank Klotz and his deputy, Madelyn Creedon—both Obama appointees—to stay in their posts, even if it means no one is in charge of maintaining the country’s nuclear weapons. According to our Energy Department source, Trump’s team has yet to nominate anyone to succeed them. Since both positions require Senate confirmation, if could be months before their chairs are filled. And the vacancies may extend beyond the leadership roles.
Rosner noted that the Obama Administration has already essentially begun rebuilding the nuclear program, making Trump’s promised expansion “a perfect example of Trump basically being clueless.”
“He didn’t understand that we have a refurbishment program,” Rosner said. “He didn’t understand that, under Obama, that we’d rebuilt the entire production complex. So exactly what he would mean by ‘strengthening the nuclear program,’ it’s a bit of a mystery. I don’t know what he’s talking about. We’ve done it already.”
