“Contemplating Frazzledrip, it occurred to me that QAnon is the obscene apotheosis of three decades of Clinton demonization.” #Qrazies
A clear indication that Marjorie Taylor Greene was more than a dabbler in QAnon was her 2018 endorsement of “Frazzledrip,” one of the most grotesque tendrils of the movement’s mythology. You “have to go down a number of rabbit holes to get that far,” said Mike Rothschild, whose book about QAnon, “The Storm Is Upon Us,” comes out later this year.
The lurid fantasy of Frazzledrip refers to an imaginary video said to show Hillary Clinton and her former aide, Huma Abedin, assaulting and disfiguring a young girl, and drinking her blood. It holds that several cops saw the video, and Clinton had them killed.
When Greene posted a picture of Donald Trump with the mother of the slain N.Y.P.D. officer Miosotis Familia on Facebook, one of her commenters described Frazzledrip and wrote, “This was another Hillary hit.” Greene replied, “Yes Familia,” then continued, “I post things sometimes to see who knows things. Most the time people don’t. I’m glad to see your comment.”
“This is rooted in ancient scapegoating of women, of doing everything to undermine women in the public arena, women with their own voices, women who speak up against power and the patriarchy,”
“This is a Salem Witch Trials line of argument against independent, outspoken, pushy women. And it began to metastasize around me.”
— Hillary Clinton
In this sense, Frazzledrip is just a particularly disgusting version of misogynist hatred she’s always contended with.
The Trump Crime Family member was convicted of obstruction, lying to Congress and witness tampering. #NotAbovetheLaw 👮
Roger J. Stone Jr., a longtime friend of President Trump’s, was sentenced Thursday to more than three years in prison for obstructing a congressional inquiry in a bid to protect the president.
The case against Mr. Stone, 67, who has known and advised Mr. Trump for years, had become a cause célèbre among the president’s supporters. Mr. Trump has attacked the prosecutors, the jury forewoman and the federal judge overseeing the trial, casting his former campaign adviser as the victim of a vendetta by law enforcement.
Hours after the sentencing, Mr. Trump lashed out again at the authorities for prosecuting Mr. Stone and claimed his trial was unfair, but he said he would not intervene using his clemency powers at this point.
“I’m not going to do anything in terms of the great powers bestowed on a president of the United States,” he said at an event in Las Vegas for former convicts easing back into society. “I want the process to play out. I think that’s the best thing to do because I’d love to see Roger exonerated — and I’d love to see it happen — because personally I think he was treated unfairly.”
The case ignited a broader controversy as former and current government lawyers accused Mr. Barr of failing to protect the department from improper political influence from the White House.

R.I.P. Elijah Cummings. Patriotic Americans, “This is our watch.”
Hillary Clinton
“Like that Old Testament prophet, he stood against the corrupt leadership of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel,” Mrs. Clinton said, to a roar of applause from the congregation. “And he looked out for the vulnerable among us. He lifted up the next generation of leaders. And he even worked a few miracles.”
“Toward the end of his life, he said, ‘I am begging the American people to pay attention to what is going on, because if you want to have a democracy intact for your children, and your children’s children, and generations yet unborn, we have got to guard this moment,’” she said. “‘This is our watch.’”
She added: “‘When we are dancing with the angels, the question will be asked,’ he said, ‘In 2019, what did we do to make sure we kept our democracy intact?’”
“He pushed back against the abuse of power. He was unwavering in his defense of our democracy. He had little tolerance for those who put party ahead of country or partisanship above truth.”
Bill Clinton
“No matter how hard he fought or how passionately he argued, he tried to treat everyone the way he wanted to be treated. The way he thought Americans should be treated. You can’t run a free society if you have to hate everybody you disagree with.”
“I love this man,” Mr. Clinton said, gesturing toward the coffin. “I loved every minute I ever spent with him, every conversation I ever had with him. I loved his booming voice. But we should hear him now at the quiet times of night, when we get worried, and we get discouraged, and we don’t know if we can believe anymore.”
“I want to send a message that we have one life to live, Mr. President,” he replied. “This is no dress rehearsal. And that the American people simply want to live their lives without fear of their leaders.
And we, as leaders, have a duty and a responsibility to keep our promise to them when we ran for office and won — and that is to make their lives better. While we’re all on this earth, that’s my message.”
Dictator’s tactic #10. Demonizing the opposition. Under authoritarian regimes such as Russia, Putin would imprison or kill of his political enemies.
The Los Angeles Times reports that the president spoke at a private breakfast on Thursday at the Intercontinental Hotel in New York City in which he likened the Ukraine whistleblower to a “spy” and suggested that he receive the death penalty for filing his complaint.
“I want to know who’s the person, who’s the person who gave the whistle-blower the information? Because that’s close to a spy,” Trump said. “You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart? Right? The spies and treason, we used to handle it a little differently than we do now.”
Dictator’s tactic #1. Systematic efforts to intimidate the media.
“You know, these animals in the press,” Trump said. “They’re animals, some of the worst human beings you’ll ever meet… They’re scum. Many of them are scum, and then you have some good reporters, but not many of them, I’ll be honest with you.”
We should not nuke hurricanes.

“I think if more people really understood the climate science, the extinction rate and just all the terrible statistics about what we’re doing to our planet, they would be motivated, too. If everyone just paid attention to the facts, everyone would be a climate activist.”, Alexandria Villaseñor, a 13-year-old environmental activist
Villaseñor has emerged as a leader within the youth climate movement ― a movement that scientists say has moved the needle on action to address the climate emergency.
British Prime Minister Theresa May, 62, criticized students for wasting valuable class time, and an Australian education minister [Rob Stokes] warned that children and teachers would be punished for participating in March 15 rallies.
“We hear you. And we don’t care,” Greta Thunberg wrote on Twitter in response to the Australian official’s demands. “Your statement belongs in a museum.” (Thunberg has since been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.)
“We are in the midst of the sixth mass extinction,” Thunberg
“It’s no longer acceptable for politicians who say they want to take action on climate change to just acknowledge the science and propose piecemeal solutions,” Stephen O’Hanlon told HuffPost. “If they want to be taken seriously by our generation, they need to back solutions that actually take action.”
knuckle:
Funny how Bernie literally is NOT a member of the democrats. He joined when he needed to use their resources in 2016 and left the instant he was done with them. So Bernie’s fair game.
Maybe Bernie doesn’t want to be a Democrat because one of Hillary’s staffers said they wanted to “punch him in his Jew nose” in those leaked emails (you know, the ones liberals love to mock people for being concerned about) and tried to use his Jewish heritage against him.
Maybe Bernie doesn’t want to be a Democrat because they actively tried to sabatoge him every step of the way.
Maybe Bernie didn’t want to be a Democrat because they mocked, demeaned, and belittled him for literal decades.
Maybe Bernie didn’t want to be a Democrat because they were beholden to big finance, phrama, and tech industries at the expense of working people.
Maybe Bernie didn’t want to be a Democrat because he was pro-gay rights in the 80’s, decades before Democrats jumped on the bandwagon.
Maybe Bernie joined the party in 2016 not to use their resources (he already had a pretty robust small donor base and mail list w/o them) because he was smart enough to know an Independent run for President would only split the vote.
And no the vote wasn’t split by Bernie or even Jill supporters. We were lucky that Johnson umped in because he skimmed enough votes from T^ump to keep him from winning the popular vote. This is also for those that want to know where the “missing” white votes went.
Listen if Bernie Sanders doesn’t want to b a Democrat then he shouldn’t run as one when it is convenient for him. If he is a Independent run as one. He ran as a Democrat to get his name out there. I don’t care what pll say he used the Democratic ticket to split the vote. I hate Jill Stein but she did run on the ticket she is associated with
How does running in the Primaries, dropping out when you lose (see: get screwed over), and then not only not running an independent, but also endorsing the person you lost to “split the vote.”
Does no one on this website know what splitting the vote even fucking means?? Splitting the votes means he would have taken votes away from her in the General Election which he wasn’t even running in. HOLY FUCK. Running as a Democrat was specifically to keep the vote from being split.
By the way: more Bernie Primary voters voted for Clinton (91%) than Clinton ‘08 Primary voters voted for Obama (76%) for crying out loud.
The only way to win the Presidency in our absurdly broken system is to run in one of the major parties, doing anything else is sabotaging the party you’re closest to. He already caucused with the Democrats, it just made sense to run that way.
Sanders supporters: The media isn’t giving any attention to Bernie cuz the’re in the bag for Hillary!!
Also Sanders supporters: The media is attacking every single thing Bernie says cause they’re in the bag for HIllary!
Oh, you’ve got a whole tag on me, huh?
You don’t even address anything I said, which is amazing, because I said a lot. I didn’t even mention media coverage!
Anyway, I’m a non-binary pansexual Jew, but, sure, call me a privileged Berniebro in your tags. Not like that was a smear totally made up by Clinton staffer, and former Republican smear-artist, David Brock that they also tried to use against Obama supporters in the 2008 Primary (how quickly y'all forgot about “Obama Boys”)
SocialistTexan. I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say I tagged you. I haven’t responded to your previous post. When I tag I do it very broadly and include both sides so – hopefully – the “other” side will see it and respond. I’m pro-choice but I also tag pro-life, for example. When you see “Berniebro” think horses not zebras.
You wrote a lot tho so I’ll respond. Almost everything you wrote in the first paragraph of the other post re: guns and Sanders is 100% subjective. Saying Sanders has voted in a way that upholds the Constitution and allows for rights that liberals would otherwise strip away [paraphrasing here] is your viewpoint. It’s not a fact. So “Bernie” doesn’t get a pass on that. “Bernie” supports a conservative point of view on guns. Even David Hogg from the Parkland shooting has pointed out Bernie’s pov on guns is problemmatic. You can trot out the idea that Bernie supports guns for hunters but that doesn’t explain why he’s repeatedly voted against holding gun manufacturers responsible for the end results of their products.
Let me ask you this because i’m genuinely interested: Why did “Bernie” say that if he became president, he’d tell the Supreme Court to look into breaking up corporations? Either he doesn’t know how the Supreme Court works (they don’t take orders from the president) or he was relying on his voters not knowing that. Those are the two choices. (Please don’t respond with any reference to HIllary Clinton.)
Bernie doesn’t want to stay a Democrat because someone said something mean about him in an email? Pathetic. He doesn’t want to be a Democrat because… the party finally agreed with him on marriage equality? Uh, okay. That makes perfect “sense.” He doesn’t want to stay a Democrat because taking money from Amazon, Alphabet, Boeing, Kaiser Permanente, the Air Force, the Army, and the Navy somehow makes him morally superior? LOL! Sure. If that helps you sleep at night.
He doesn’t want to stay a Democrat because “they” “sabotaged” him? Horseshit. No one sabotaged Bernie but Bernie. He lost the Democratic primary because only an old white guy would be so fucking entitled as to demand that the Democratic Party’s base (women, non-whites, and LGBTQ people) shut up about civil rights and fall in line behind him because their fight against discrimination (what he dismissively calls “identity politics”) is scaring away the white working-class bigots he’s desperate to recruit. In the 2016 race and again in the 2020 race Bernie is the ONLY “Democrat” who is unable to balance civil rights with economic populism.
And get the fuck outta here with that nonsense that he didn’t need the Democratic Party’s resources. Bernie Sanders mocked, demeaned, and belittled the Democratic Party for decades, then admitted that he joined it in 2016 to increase his media coverage and to raise money that he couldn’t raise outside the two-party system. His insincerity in joining as a fucking user is another reason he didn’t do well with the party’s base in 2016. Then, after vowing that he would remain a Democrat the rest of his life, he reneged on his promise. He also rigged the 2012 and 2018 Democratic primaries in Vermont to ensure that he would face no competition from actual Democrats and win re-election.
Bernie Sanders is a liar and a user, he’s steeped in straight white male cisgender privilege, and he’s finally being vetted by both the media and his Democratic rivals. I can’t wait to see him torn apart, and given the pathetic defense you and other Sandernistas have mounted so far on social media you’re going to be a hindrance, not a help, to him.

Hillary Clinton has joined the chorus of disapproval surrounding President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to fund his promised U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Clinton, Trump’s Democratic opponent in the 2016 election, on Monday tweeted a list of four issues that she considered to be “real national emergencies” ― gun violence, climate change, the Trump administration’s family-separation immigration policy and health care.
In the wake of Trump’s emergency declaration on Friday, Clinton retweeted this post calling it a #FAKENationalEmergency.
Truth
The real national emergencies:
- Relentless gun violence. - Children separated from their families at the border. - Climate change. - Americans dying for lack of health care.
— Hillary Clinton @HillaryClinton - Feb 18, 2019
Trump just declared a #FAKENationalEmergency at the border. Trump is going around Congress, the will of the people, & abusing the powers of the presidency to build his hateful wall. There’s no time to waste - it’s time to mobilize to defend our democracy. Here’s what you can do:
— Indivisible Guide (@IndivisibleTeam) - Feb 15, 2019
Declaring a national emergency would be a lawless act, a gross abuse of the power of the presidency and a desperate attempt to distract from the fact that @realDonaldTrump broke his core promise to have Mexico pay for his wall.
