Putin's Olympic Invasion Games

Hypothesis - Putin has Olympic athlete envy. But what event could he compete in with his stocky 5' 7" frame? Then it came to him. I'll create my own Olympic Invasion Games.

2008 Medal Attempt

Russia invaded Georgia hours before the start of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Putin actually attended the opening ceremony along with other world leaders including W. When Bush expressed his displeasure, Putin said, "it was Medvedev" ;)

2014 Medal Attempt

Now Putin has invaded the Ukraine weeks after the Olympics in Sochi. What kind of host would he have been if he pulled another 2008. Forget Sochi's slogan of, "Hot. Cool. Yours.". It's all about "Hot. Cool. Mine",

Putin holds the record for both summer and winter Olympics. World despots, top that!
