Hackers 'try to steal Covid vaccine secrets in intellectual property war'

Agencies point finger at state-sponsored hackers from China, Russia, Iran and North Korea

State-sponsored hackers from China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are engaged in concerted attempts to steal coronavirus vaccine secrets in what security experts describe as “an intellectual property war”.

They accuse hostile-state hackers of trying to obtain trial results early and seize sensitive information about mass production of drugs, at a time when a range of vaccines are close to being approved for the public.

Previously the hackers’ primary intention was to steal the secrets behind the design of a vaccine, with hundreds of drug companies, research labs and health organisations from around the world targeted at any one time.

• This year, the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre said Covid vaccine research labs were being targeted in the UK, US and Canada by Cozy Bear Russian state hackers linked to the FSB internal security agency.
• In September, Chinese hackers were accused by Spain of stealing Covid research secrets from labs in a “particularly virulent” campaign.
• Hackers linked to Iran were accused of trying to steal secrets from US drugmaker Gilead Research in May

After you receive the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) agency notice that you are under audit, the IRS has up to three years to audit you. While the time varies on different cases, most audits are completed within a year.

Even though the IRS has up to three years to audit your return, they like to close audits well before the statute of limitations expires. In fact, it is actually stated in the IRS training manual – the Internal Revenue Manual – that IRS agents must “strictly adhere to” the rule of opening and closing audits within 26 months after the due of the return or the date it was filed, whichever was later.

If there is a large amount of unreported income, the statute is six years to audit.

While Trump paid just $750 in U.S. federal income taxes in 2017, he has paid:

- $188,561 in taxes to China - $156,824 in taxes to the Philippines - $145,400 in taxes to India - $15,598 in taxes to Panama

And Trump wants us to believe he puts America first? What a hypocrite!

• The IRS must open a TAX EVASION investigation into Trump and his businesses
• Hypocrite is being too polite

So while Trump has been screeching about Biden & his "shady Chinese business deals," Trump has not only maintained a secret Chinese bank account, but he paid $188,561 in taxes in China from 2013 to 2015, while paying practically nothing in the United States.

The Johns Hopkins University is tracking total confirmed cases of the coronavirus worldwide and as of January 27 2020, there were 4,474,, of which 4,409 are in China with a further 14 in the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. 

This map shows the countries/territories that have confirmed cases of the virus. Thailand has confirmed eight cases, while Germany has now detected its first case.

Wall Street Journal, Chao failed to divest from Vulcan Materials Co., an asphalt company that relies on DOT funds, as required by her original ethics agreement. Over two years into her term as Secretary, she cashed out $400,000 of shares in the company. Secretary Chao’s failure to live up to the terms of her original ethics agreement raise conflict of interest concerns.

New York Times reported that the group, run by her father until last year, donated millions of dollars in gifts to both Chao and her husband Senator Mitch McConnell. Chao has also appeared in promotional events with her father in China, raising questions of ethics and industry influence.

Politico reported that Chao has given 1 out of 4 meetings with local officials to Kentucky constituents, who make up just 1.3% of the US population. Kentucky is the state that her husband, Mitch McConnell is the Senator of. Constituents and officials of other states complained about her lack of availability. This discrepancy in treatment raises questions about unethical favoritism.
