I first drew this Jonerys/phantom at the opera crossover back in 2019 and boy was it awkward to see it again! My lines used to be so shaky… so I had to redraw it! I guess it’s a good way to see how far I’ve come 😊

It is strange, Daenerys thinks, as she watches the man slowly approach, the horse treading lightly despite its rider wearing heavy armour, how one boy can command a country. But then he stops before her, and he removes his helmet, and as curls black as sod tumble down his young face, she suddenly knows how.
A few weeks back @dracoignisworld has spoiled me with this beautiful story and of COURSE I had to illustrate it!! If historical romance is your thing go and read it now. It’s honestly incredible

Hi all! Long time no post from me on here - I’m sorry , how have you all been??
I thought I’d share with you my first entry to this years Mermay with my top girl Dany of course 💙
If it’s the last thing I do (for @tomakeitbeautifultolive)
Excerpt:
“I am trusting you with a letter. No one can know about it.” He hoped his eyes conveyed the urgency and seriousness of his words.
Arya frowned. “Not even Sansa?”
He shook his head. “No one. I want you to keep this letter safe for me…” he swallowed thickly. “And when you see Jon, I want you to give it to him.”
Arya’s eyes lit up at her brother’s name. “I will not disappoint you, father,” she proclaimed.
Ned couldn’t stop his smile. “I know you won’t.”
He pulled the letter out of his pocket and trusted it into her small hands. After rolling it between her fingers and studying it with big grey eyes, she stuffed it into her boot. A nagging thought occurred to him just then: what if she couldn’t reach Jon? He knew that once Arya put her mind to something, she’d make sure to carry through. But what if her destiny forced her even farther away from the Wall, perhaps all the way out of Westeros?
Just as an afterthought, just to be safe that his daughter would have the choice should she find herself at a crossroads, he added: “There is one more person who is allowed to ever see the letter, should you ever cross paths: and that is Princess Daenerys Targaryen.”

Finally something to show for all those studies I did earlier. Sketch for an upcoming painting of Daenarys as I envisioned her from the series rather than the show (though, since Emilia Clarke plays a lovely Dany, I’ll incorporate plenty of her likeness).
