also her family’s biggest enemy? since fucking when? Cersei was Dany’s biggest enemy at that moment, but she had just fought alongside two Lannisters and one was her advisor. Tywin fought for the Targ’s until it became clear they would lose. The Baratheons or maybe the Stark’s were the Targ’s family’s biggest enemy, they are the ones that rebelled and Dany already made peace with them. 

Also no, seeing a Lannister banner in the red keep doesn't explain why Dany then decided to burn every single person in KL before deciding to deal with Cersei. If anything I’m more confused now. 

She didn't even go after Cersei at all. Cersei only died because of sheer dumb luck, and only Tyrion went to look for the bodies.

The path to Dany being on the Iron Throne is paved in the blood of people she’s killed, as if that makes her a bad person.

As if everything she did in her story, along this path, was a bad thing. She birthed dragons? Boohoo she killed someone to do it so it’s bad. She freed slaves and broke chains? Boohoo she killed quite a few people to do it so it’s bad.

This is such BULLSHIT. Dany’s path was no more blood-soaked than anyone else’s and it was more altruistic than everyone’s paths combined!!!!

Im supposed to think Dany was in the wrong for all the people who died as she rose to power? I DON’T.

Miri Maz Durr killed an innocent unborn child. That’s a felony by today’s laws.

The slave masters were…SLAVERS. They killed and stole and mutilated innocent children.

Cersei and Jaime killed countless people and tried to murder a little boy to keep their affair secret.

Absolutely disgusting and dishonest. Viserys wasn’t killed because Dany wanted to take the throne from him and “he was in her path to the throne”, he was her abuser, and had just threatened to kill her and cut her unborn baby from her. And Dany didn’t even kill him, she simply didn’t defend him. This is some disgusting victim blaming.

I also absolutely despise how this art has the Sons of the Harpy crying tears of blood, as if they were the victims. Dany killed slavers because they were slavers. This idea that she should end slavery “peacefully” is absolute bullshit, because slavers are not going to give up their slaves and their economic and political power if Dany just asks them politely. The only way for her to end slavery is through force, this is not a democracy. This idea that people should never use violence to fight against oppressors is absurd, and only serves as a way for people in power to keep the status quo by demonizing anyone that fights against them.

Dany also killed soldiers in her path to the throne. So what? Did the writers of this stupid show “kinda forget” that this is a medieval story? And that the only way for Dany get to power in Westeros is by using force? DANY CAN’T SIGN UP FOR THE NEXT WESTEROSI PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS, BECAUSE WESTEROS IS NOT A DEMOCRACY!!!! She can’t just ask the lords to hold elections, because no one would agree just because she asked politely! Using force is the only way for her to get to power, and it’s what other characters have done as well! The Starks got Winterfell back by using force too! They didn’t ask the Boltons to hold elections to decide who would rule the North! They killed their enemies! BECAUSE IT’S A FREAKING MEDIEVAL STORY, NOT A STORY SET IN A DEMOCRATIC WORLD!!! (Also, if we’re crying about “poor slavers”, why aren’t we crying about “poor Ramsey Bolton, Jon and Sansa are sooo evil for having killed him”? And what about the poor innocent Bolton soldiers that the Starks killed to get power back? Isn’t killing people evil? Or does this logic only applies to Dany? That’s a double standard, that’s what it is) 

Saying that “Dany killed bad people” as a justification for the stupid writing that made her burn thousands of innocent people for no reason is illogical, and just serves as an excuse to demonize a woman in power that had to fight for her power (as opposed to a woman who was given her power by a man), and to demonize people that fight against the status quo.

Also, can I just talk about how disgusting that this reduces Dany to the poor evil people and poor slavers that she killed, and it doesn’t even show her? The show didn’t show Dany’s perspective in her supposed “descent into madness”, it only showed her male advisors gaslighting her and telling the audience that she was going mad, even though there was no reason for thinking that she was going mad. No, women having emotions and being sad at a party is not a “sign of madness”. If you think so, you’re a misogynist. No, Dany worrying about her claim after working for years to get the throne is not madness, is just what any woman would feel if she started to be displaced by by a man that didn’t work like she did just because he has a dick. No, Dany distrusting the people around her is not paranoia, because the people around her really were plotting against her, and her fears were completely justified. Anyway, so instead of showing Dany’s perspective, this sexist show decided to have the male characters gaslight her and tell the audience that she was mad and evil, because the main female character’s perspective doesn’t matter, only the male voices matter. And when she starts burning King’s Landing, we don’t see her face, because her perspective doesn’t matter. And here in this poster, all of her story, the story of a hero that saved countless lives, is demonized, and again, her perspective doesn’t matter, this art doesn’t even show her face, it completely dehumanizes her. That’s how this show and HBO treats their female protagonist. This is a slap on the face of female fans.

I honestly can’t believe that no one in HBO sees just how offensive all of this is.

The way they put Sons of Harpy and Lannister helmets as if Im supposed to feel bad for her past actions. You could have just depicted her burning of Kings Landing and Id bite my tongue becauss despite how I disagree with that characterization I can acknowledge it happened in the show. Showing a blood path of innocent people would make sense but trying to twist what she did in Slavers Bay/against the Son of Harpy and make it evil is DUMB. Yall dumb and are trying way too hard to try and make the abysmal Dany “plot twist” into some philosophical conversation on if killing slave masters and treasonous lords is bad or not. Get fucked
