HANMA + "eyes up here, baby"

between your teeth, you rip open the package containing a small gauze pad. "chin up," you command, taking a seat next to hanma on your bed, as he complies with a quiet 'mhm'. his golden slits watch you carefully, a pool of guilt swarming in lungs at the concern your eyes showered him with. he never meant to get beaten the hell up, but he always knew he had you to care for him afterwards. you had finished cleaning up the blood from his cheek, and were now settling on the best position to place the gauze pad. he lets out a slight groan when you apply soft pressure, ensuring it in place with some adhesive tape. "sorry, babe. you need a minute?" you lean back, eyes lingering on his soft lips. despite getting hurt almost completely over, hanma's lips didn't suffer a scratch—and you were to quick to notice that. "eyes up here, baby," hanma speaks. his perfect, stupid lips twitch up in a sleak grin at your obviousness. you roll your eyes with a cheeky smile, making him chuckle as he hooks two fingers under your chin, and pulls you closer once more. "can i?" he asks quietly into the small space between you two, you nod. "yeah?"—you nod again, and your breath hitches when you feel his lips on your's, pouring all his gratitude into one kiss.

you've always loved to admire the view at your's and ran's shared penthouse. it was absolutely gorgeous; the flickering city lights, the tiny people walking along, and the mellow sounds of the cars below. so far up you are, you could only hear the hollow blur of the warm air around you. nothing else, and for a moment or two, you feel one with the wind.

"what's on your mind, love?" ran—with a voice as velvet as ever—leaves a wake of tingles in his touch, dragging his fingers along the curve of your hips. his height causes him to have to lean, in order to place a small kiss on your nape. he smiles when he feels you reach towards your back, to pull him closer towards you.

you hum, 'nothing,' you don't say. but it's true, you're not really thinking about anything at this moment. you're simply basking in the perfect night, and now, him. to your response, ran hums back. he shifts his face, to snuggle his face into the crook of your neck. "is that so?" he purrs, purple eyes twinkling, "well, i'm thinking about you."

a/n: been dying to write father/husband!tokrev so here's my take having a family with these scary men. all timeskip btw. not gonna fucking lie i cried writing draken's.

he remembers the way fatherhood hit him like a truck; a pleasant hit. is that even possible? he ponders, nontheless he thought so. he was just getting adjusted to the ins and outs of husbandhood, until you ecstatically told him you were pregnant with your's and his first child. now, with a little bundle of joy at the mere age of childhood—and some time to relax for once—he sits and reflects on a moment of his life as a father that he held dear to his heart.

RAN remembers the first time his daughter smiled up at him. a smile that shined so brightly despite it being one of her firsts. and the sweet babble that left her giggly self was like nothing he’d ever heard; who knew a sound could make a man feel so fulfilled? she knew, his daughter knew that he, a man who was feared and envied through the undergrounds of japan— was her father. "that's right sweet one, i'm your papa. i promise to love you forever, my little girl."

RINDOU remembers the first time you and him allowed for the little one to sleep on the bed between you two. until now, your son had been sleeping on a separate crib next to your shared bed, and rindou silently longed to have him next to you guys as the night draped its dreamy blanket over the three of you. therefore when the night finally came— rindou stayed up late to admire the pure, unconcentrated looks of sleep on his two loved one's faces. he fell asleep that night with a smile of contentment on his face.

HANMA remembers the first day his son went to school. from picking warm clothes the night before, then hastily throwing the lunch you made him into the his paw patrol backpack, to driving him to the front gates, and then carrying him on his hip into the school— hanma recalls it all. he remembers the large smile his little boy gave him as he waddled in line and into the school doors, blowing a sweet kiss to his father before he disappeared in the crowd. that day, hanma promised himself that he would give it his all for his child to gain the education and success he deserved.
