"kazu! you forgot your lunch idiot," you laugh, jogging to chase him down the quiet halls of his apartment. the jaggle of his lunch shakes in the brown paper bag you outstretched towards the door.

just short of exiting the room, kazutora turns to face you with a shocked expression. "ah shit!" he grins gingerly, reaching out to grab the bag heavy enough to keep him full for a day and a half.

he glances over at the dirty dinner table, the pile of dishes stacked in the sink, and looks at you with guilt washed all over. "i wish i could stay and help clean," his eyes flicker down to his shoes.

"are you kidding me, kazu?" you give him an entertained look. "you need to get to school, and i've got time to spare unlike you." you place a hand on his shoulder, shaking him gently as you usher him out the door. "now go before you're late again," he smiles at your feigned anger. "and don't worry about me, okay?"

he nods, and takes a deep breath before telling you that he sometimes felt like he was a burden to your life. kazutora hated feeling like this; like he was incapable of taking care of himself, but he knew you were causing more heal than harm to his life. and he was truly grateful for that.

"you're not burdening me, my love. taking care of you is my responsibility." you say quietly, hands crossing as you lean against the doorframe. you were facing him now, and he found himself facing you, too. he knew you were telling the truth, and the truth made kazutora immensly happy.

he nods, and with a smile—a genuine smile—, he waves you goodbye and treads his way to school with a warm feeling swirling in his chest.

MIKEY remembers when he, you, and your son went to get professional family photos taken. he had the liberty of choosing what outfits you three would wear—he insisted that you had to match in "one way or another." the fuss your son made at first was slightly embarassing, but it none of it mattered once mikey saw the gorgeous results of the photos. now framed sweetly in your home, mikey makes sure to glance at it every time he arrives home, and to wipe it down from dust and grime. him, the love of his life, and the one he created with you—altogether, forever.

MITSUYA remembers sewing his first outfit for his daughter: a pastel onesie adorned with her initials across the neckline. the first time he had slipped her little chubby arms into the sleeves, and her legs (that wouldn't quit kicking) into the pants, mitsuya felt immense waves of love and joy. it was an absolute perfect fit. feeling tears well up, mitsuya felt pride in being able to use his fashion skills to create something unique and special for his one and only child. also, the wide grin on her small face was nothing short of a blissful accomplishment for him. MIKEY: doesn't really comprehend it right away but when he does: his eyes go wide, jaw wide open as his food nearly falls out his mouth. he can't believe what he's hearing- who is talking to his s/o like that?? they're strokin' their dick???? to y/n???? WHAT. he screams out: "y/n?! who is that?!! end it! oh my god!" he's so frantic as he crawls over to look at the call ID, only to see his red face look back at him. he's super pouty after, "y/n's so mean!" cute.

DRAKEN: I CAN'TTT immediately once the guy says "dick" draken is whipping his head towards you so hard he probably got whiplash. his eyes are a mix of bewilderment, disgust, and pure confusion because who the fuck is calling you???? hence he quite literally asks you: "y/n, who the fuck is calling you?" and he looks so angry at not you- but at the audacity this person has. "gimm-gimme the fucking phone." he snatches it from you and sees his own face. "not fucking funny." he's embarrased though <3

TAKEMITCHI: his heart falls out his ass when he hears what the person says. why is this person calling you and why are they saying such vile things? he starts to holler and scream because he doesn't know what to do. tries blocking your ears while simultaneously blocking his own, yelling: "HANG UP OH MY GOD!" he ends up looking stupid on camera and you have to stop yourself from ending the filming too early from literal tears.

mikey: he rubs his eyes and yawns at your sudden appearance at his door. this mf probably didn't hear you the first time, so he just goes "huh?" when you repeat yourself, his ears perk up and his eyes widen and he just bursts out laughing because what the fuck did you just say?? he's still laughing, moving the blanket over and pats down the place next to him. "you weirdo.."

draken: grumbles and rolls over at the intrusion, he stills for a moment before he processes what you just said. he sits up, "you what?" "i shit-" "no, be quiet, i heard you" he's looking at you with a face that could only be described as stanky and annoyed. (HELPPPP) either way he scooches over, but lays back down, not bothering to say anything else. the man is tired.

takemitchi: he definitely didn't hear you at first, honestly got scared when he woke up to someone at his door like that. you tell him again, and he just "HUH? YOU- YOU WHAT?" he sits up, and asks if you need help cleaning. "you'd do that for me? you'd help me clean my shit? he stumbles on his words, "well i mean... i don't really want to.."

baji: "huh?" he's looking at you with the most confused face ever, eyes squinting at the sudden light. you repeat your words. he just looks at you for a moment, looking at the clock and back at you. you stand there waiting for a response. finally he says, "that's fucking gross, y/n... get in."

pure fondness fills their eyes, smiles at you so lovingly that you can feel your cheeks burn up despite being the one holding their face. sigh what can you say, they just have that effect on you. also turns their head to press a kiss to your palm.

is taken aback for a second, suprised to feel such warmth on their face but relaxes when they see it's just you. smiles brightly while leans their face into one of your palms. just relishes in the moment, really.

looks at you with widened eyes, you're touching them with such softness it makes their heart palpitate. their palms are sweating slightly, but they simply put a hand over yours and smile sweetly in acknowledegment.

grins ear to ear, like they've been waiting for this moment. chuckles at your sudden touch, and returns it by cupping your face as well. says something along the lines of "pretty little thing"

their heart stiffens up at the look of love you're giving them. you hold them with such a light touch that they begin to feel a little light headed. it makes their eyes water that they have someone like you to love them.
