This game is criminally underrated. The gameplay can arguably be not the favorite out of the paper Mario series, but the characters and writing is the best in this game

Does it ever dawn on you how fucked up it must've been for Mario to see the two people he loves the most get possessed by the main antagonists and had to fight them as a result in the Paper Mario games? Cuz I think about it a lot. 😭💔
