never not thinking about 'that flawless bone china pate' in turnabout trump. THE krisnix line of all time to me. i refuse to believe that there isn't something at least a little bit mutual going on between phoenix and kristoph, because this line paints such a vivid image of them sitting in the restaurant bonding over making nasty bitchy little comments about which fellow patrons are bald, ugly, old, etc. phoenix is saying every horrific blue-text remark out loud to kristoph and kristoph is LOVING it. i think about the fact that kristoph never had any intention of letting phoenix go to jail in 4-1 so much. like. multiple times he tries to get apollo to point the finger of blame at olga orly. it was pretty clear he was setting her up to take the fall. for what possible reason would he not take the opportunity to see his mortal enemy go to jail? for so that they could FUCK more?? turns out phoenix actually had no such reservation about seeing KRISTOPH go to prison. phoenix can be cold(er) than kristoph. drives me insane. they are insane

Do you ever think about kristoph and phoenix getting it on and then all of a sudden they both just. simultaneously lose interest and feeling but they have to play it up so the other doesnt know theyre getting sick of it and convince themselves that it was just the one time because if they dont have this they have nothing
do you think about their silences after physically intimate moments that arent quite awkward but theyre toeing a very tense line and neither of them knows what to say so you just hear the rustling of clothes and the spark of a lighter and the offering of a cigarette and how thats just their routine
yeah. i think about their collective development of apathy a lot.
