Greek Gods as Kitchen Spices Pt. 1|2

Disclaimer : The following post is inspired from a random quiz I had recently taken. In case if you don't know any of the spice, just click on its name and it will take you to its Wikipedia article. Have fun!

🌿Zeus : The king of Gods is warm and pretty dominant. He reminds me of cumin from kitchen spices, because just like this spice he is intense but can also be very controversial.

🌿Hera : Thyme from kitchen spices heavily reminds me of Queen Hera, strong and powerful. Your dish will not be ruined, even if you accidentally add too much thyme.

🌿Poseidon : There are some people who can't stand this sea god while there are so many people who love him more than any other god. This personality of Poseidon reminds me of coriander ( or cilantro, whatever you prefer). Like coriander leaves, he is distinct and fresh but can be annoying as well.

🌿Hades : People either love him or they hate him,there is no in between. This thing about Had pepper, because reminds me of tarragon. People who hate this spice probably just haven't had enough experience with the flavor.

🌿Demeter : The goddess is oregano. Oregano is one of the kitchen spice that goes well with basically anything. Demeter is always there when you need her and she definitely doesn't like drama.

🌿Hestia : Even though she is not an Olympian, she's still quite popular and loved by almost everyone. This quality of hers reminds me of basil, because just like this goddess basil is considered as pure and sacred in some cultures.

🌿Athena : The Goddess of Wisdom is very practical and somewhat conservative. Her personality suits well with one of the more traditional, but nonetheless still special kitchen spice called rosemary, since she pays more attention to small details.

🌿Aphrodite : Vanilla extract is best to describe the love goddess's nature. She is very social and laughter loving matchmaker. Aphrodite hides her more serious side under her disguise of bubbly barbie doll personality, just like how vanilla extract hides it's medicinal properties behind its sweetness.

🌿Ares : chilli powder. Ares is bold and incredibly energetic and people sometimes have trouble dealing with him. Chilli powder enhances the spiciness likewise Ares brings zest to anything he touches.
