Gwyn is making progress on understanding that I will play tug or fetch or keep-away with any toy, but as soon as she wants to gnaw, I offer her a chew. Rope, hoof, antler, any of these are okay to gnaw.
She's been obsessing over a pair of shorts with a particularly nice drawstring (apparently) though, even opening containers to retrieve the shorts if they are hidden. So yesterday I finally cut the drawstring out. By itself, it was far too long, and I don't actually want her to chew on it. So I wrapped it around a rope toy, hoping that will help encourage Gwyn to chew rope when she's feeling gnawy.
All of this was just to explain why my brain is now incessantly repeating:
🎵Everybody wants a rope to wind a piece of string around🎶
