My friend could tell he wanted a pillow for his head, and when she put it down next to him, he immediately assumed this position. It’s almost exactly what I do when I sleep! 🥺💖
He actually fell asleep for a bit like this before I started bothering him with pictures and then ended up moving off the pillow.

Bedtime! How are we sleeping tonight? Lately Gwyn has been circling under the blanket, sticking her head out, and then pillowing her head *on* the blanket. Luxury!
~Stealing My Blankets *and* My Hand~
This is new to me; I've never had a dog who wanted under the covers. But occasionally Gwyn stands at my shoulder and stares until I lift the blankets. She climbs under, sometimes even curling up entirely out of sight.
The first few times she was very sleepy and it seemed like she ended up under the covers on accident, but since then it's clearly deliberate. Little Princess Has Opinions.
