The first time I saw Tristan stalking something, I thought he was lame. In all his legs, like he'd gotten stickers in all his feet or something. But no, this is how Tristan and Guinevere stalk: like they're extremely hesitant to put each foot down, and must do it slo-o-o-owly.
They're usually stalking quite some distance away, but I have finally, FINALLY gotten some video of this hilarious locomotion.
[Video Description: Three video clips of Guinevere, an alert, perky red cocker spaniel wearing a grey jacket. In each clip she stands with one forefoot in the air, surrounded by fresh pocket gopher mounds. She hesitantly moves to put her forefoot on the ground several times before she puts weight on it, and slowly, awkwardly but silently, moves each foot forward with similar hesitation. No important sounds.]
