3... the exact number of African American/African American wlw relationships I’ve ever seen on tv. There needs to be more black women loving black women rep.

2001 - Original Cindy was reunited with Diamond, her on again off again girlfriend, only to watch her die a slow and painful death after she was used as a guinea pig by a mad scientist. 

2002 - Kima and Cheryl’s relationship was problematic from the start, with issues of cheating, jealousy, and resentment which ended with Kima walking out on Cheryl and their infant son.

2016 - Nova and Chantal had chemistry, they fought together for our people against the corrupt law enforcement and justice system, and they had so much potential. Then Chantal found out Nova had been sleeping with a man... a white man... a white male cop... a married white male cop.

YESSSS!!!!! My soul will rise when Jocelyns’ lips meet Camilas’ once again <3 There’s nothing I’m looking forward to more than this, it’s literally all I’ve been asking for, a WOC/WOC ship :D This show doesn’t get the credit it deserves. My soul died with Lexa but Jocelyn will resurrect it lol Camila don’t you dare fuck this up again, recognize true love when you see it! And GOT DAMN Jocelyn looks fine as hell in this scene!!! Bisexual leading ladies on network tv were around before the 1oo...

I absolutely love Clarke, but she was NOT the first leading lady on a network tv series to end up being bisexual. It’s been yearrrrrs since I’ve seen this show but I won’t forget it because it introduced me to Olivia Wilde as Alex Kelly before she played a bisexual again on House lol The OC’s troubled leading lady Marissa Cooper was bisexual. In 2005 a Fox tv drama about a bunch of Orange County teens was less than entertaining for my taste but when they introduced Alex, the emancipated badass bisexual new girl in town, I was all about it :D She and Marissa had a relationship that lasted about as long as Clexa, but atleast it was there to show that a show’s main female character who as far as I know had only been boy crazy, fell for the bad girl. There were probably more shows after that and before the 1oo, but that’s the one that sticks out in my mind as being the first bisexual leading lady on network tv.
