Ahahaha! Awkward! 8|

Sooo I just got a text from an old friend who...hasn't bothered to contact me for at least a year (probably more, I just don't remember) even though she apparently had my number the whole time. The text was to let me know that she's going to be at the Dallas bus station for a while tomorrow (Friday) morning in case Loving Spouse and I want to visit a little.

This is awkward because another old friend, her former fiance, is coming to visit LS and I. Tomorrow (Friday).

Luckily the awkwardness is being easily avoided by the fact that LS is sick and definitely not up to driving to Dallas. (Downtown Dallas, on Black Friday. Though I left that part out.) BUT STILL. Like WTF?

Addendum to my previous post: have I absolutely continued to read their fics and be a petty shit by not Kudosing them even though I enjoyed them? If you even have to think about that, clearly you're new here. Hi, I'm Doc and I'm a petty shit.

That awkward feel when you realize you Kudosed a fanfic written by someone you had a falling out with many, MANY years ago. And you're using the same name you were using at the time, so assuming they even remember you it's not like they don't KNOW it's you. Yep. :/

I think my primary hesitance to post this damn fic is that the summary is so cheestastic terrible. Like wow, did you lift that shit from Fanfiction.net? I may try to replace it with a copypasta summary instead: use a couple lines from the fic itself. Hm... Okay, Tumblr, what do you think? '"Check update to family's file." Uuugh. Looking through some Facebook pics of myself and in like, at least half of them I have this awkward giraffe neck thing going on. It is some bizarre optical illusion, because my neck isn't actually THAT long. (I think?) And yet somehow! Giraffe neck! URG.

...What is the general etiquette when you color the art of someone you don't actually know? Like, should I drop them an ask, or is tagging them and giving credit in the post enough?
