reason: They're both unhealthily obsessed with the Phantom thieves but in opposite ways. Akechi despises them while Mishima adores them. Also they both have that inherent desire to be wanted and also they take they're obsessions to such an extreme that requires intervention to be stopped. So many character parallels between them and they're dynamic would be so insane and I need it.

I just love their dynamic, the serious leader and the playful follower, and they care so much for each other. I think it would be funny if Piper and Jason who where together at some point break up and then have both their gay awakening, Piper with Shel and Jason with Leo.
I tried to pick out popular anime while knowing nothing about the genre and after I finished, I looked at all of the pictures and realized that the same guy must be having the time of his life traveling through all these universes.
reason: They are literally (not literally) married. I have SO many thoughts about them i can't fit here sorry. Pigsy owns a noodle shop and Tang eats his noodles for free and bickering. They've also saved the world together (and with their found family <3) like 5 times. They go through it together and lift each other up but when that's not happening they are (friendly?) Arguing
