P.K. Subban is a lot more different than I thought. He has a sense of himself, a very strong sense of himself. And in the midst of a life where everybody has been telling him forever that he should be a certain way, he’s decided that he knows what he wants to be. He has a sense of himself where he can see through the noise, work through the noise, know that there is something more important on the other side of the noise, and is absolutely determined to get there on the ice and off the ice.
In truth, that’s really all it is. Just noise.
