…Cole Harbour was hardly a hub of excitement. With nothing better to do, Sidney practiced hockey everywhere he could. He became so obsessed with the game that the woman who ran his daycare had to inform his parents that she could not play hockey with him every day and that she needed to attend to the other children. Sidney’s parents attempted to distract him with other activities, but all he wanted to do was play hockey.

Attention Sidney Crosby fans: Well this has been a long time coming. (x)
#I have so many thoughts/feelings about this I can't!!#okay first of all#if Sid doesn't recruit Nate to be an instructor in his hockey school then WHAT IS THEIR FRIENDSHIP EVEN FOR??#he'd better have asked him bc let's be real no way would Nate ever turn Sid down#secondly Sid is going to be teaching little kiddies hockey on his birthday!!#they'll sing for him and he'll probably share his cake!! BEST BIRTHDAY EVER THINKS SID#and thirdly#I bet Sid has been chattering about this excitedly in the locker room all the while it's been in the works#Geno gets all animated and involved#because even aside from how knee-melting the idea of hockey-instructor-Sid + kids is#Geno ALSO loves kids and he's like#HMMM I have friend slash housemate who also runs his own hockey schools#next thing Sid knows Geno is scheming to run a summer hockey school in Magnitka#and he chirps Geno about stealing his idea but it's mostly just cheerful bc yay!
