Well, it can’t all be sorrow, can it? I’ve always been alone, so I don’t feel the lack. It’s all I’ve ever known. I’ve never experienced loss because I have never had a loved one to lose. But what is grief, if not love persevering?

Devotion, devotion, devotion. Every congregation would fall over themselves in envy of his.
Have mercy.
I see a lot of people that seem to be concerned about Netflix suddenly canceling Bridgerton after a season. Here's why I think those concerns are wrong:
- Netflix has thrown A LOT of money at this show. They want it to be a success, and I firmly believe that they think it will be.
- The promotion of this show is beyond anything I've seen for another Netflix show. Maybe the Crown or Stranger Things comes close, but I personally believe they are promoting Bridgerton more than those two shows.
- They are running actual commercials for Bridgerton on network TV. And they are running commercials during very popular shows (The Masked Singer). I have honestly, never seen this happen before. That's a huge investment as well, their marketing budget must be huge.
- This is a Shonda Rhimes show. That in of itself is huge. It's likely that in her contract she got them to commit to a certain number of seasons for her shows. This is pure speculation, but I could see them doing this for someone of her caliber.
- There is a HUGE global fandom for this show already just from the books. Add in the people who don't know about the books but love a costume drama (Downton fans), and you've got another rather large group of people that will most likely watch this show.
- I saw a report from the UK about plans being submitted to a local council so that they can get permission to build a permanent outdoors set to use for the filming of future seasons. That's a large project to start planning if the producers aren't sure they are going to get more seasons. I don't think they would be starting that process without some sort of permission from the higher ups at Netflix.
Again, this is my speculation, but I personally feel very confident that we will see multiple seasons of Bridgerton. I am not at all concerned about it being suddenly cancelled. Bridgerton is in a different level to shows like Teenage Bounty Hunters or The Society (no shade to those shows, but they had minimal promotion, so I'm not surprised they were axed by Netflix).
