It’s an amazing movie

I think people fail to realize that the trust raya put on namaari was that she trusted namaari to do the right thing to avoid human extinction 😬

Like, no matter how much trust issues you have, you no matter what, trust other people to want to stay alive and want others to stay alive

Sure, they all became friends in the end but that’s literally cause every mortal threat was erased and so every reason to dispute for power and the movie ends up without us really knowing at what extent raya trusts namaari now

But also, the message of the movie isn’t to trust people blindly even after being back stabbed

It’s about how the trust people put in you allows you to trust yourself to do the right thing, things you didn’t thought possible you to do. It’s about how inspirational it can be. It’s about being hopeful.

Raya only trusted namaari with her life because she wasn’t the only one depending on it.

Of course namaari was gonna do the right thing. Raya knew she wasn’t gonna go thanos and live alone in a farm while everyone is dead while she could have avoided it

I really don’t understand why so much controversy around this message

The characters are facing mass extinction

The movie shows the bad and good sides of trusting someone

So I don’t have a defined top10 or top5 Disney movies (i just know tangled is the supreme) but like...... raya and the last dragon is top 5

Same for disney princesses, I just know rapunzel is my girl followed by elsa and Ariel, I think raya is joining the 3rd level with jasmine and Merida

The time period of the clothes don’t match the objects in the background or the setting or climate or colors or whatever and this happens in many movies

If u wanted a 100% accurate dipiction of your culture it’s valid

But at the end of the day raya is a fantasy fictional story
