Do you guys ever think about Lila. Lila getting tricked into a loveless marriage just so Skiddad could get an heir. Lila having to deal with the knowledge that her husband, and possibly her too (if she was a member of the cult as well), is hurting kids around town. Lila finally snapping, so afraid that her son could also get hurt, and possibly killing her husband just to protect him. Lila loving Skid so much she'd be willing to both kill and die for him. Lila having to watch him as he grows to resemble more and more the man she hates the most. Lila having to lie, to pretend she still loves Skiddad, just because her son loves him very much still. Do you guys ever think about Lila in general.

Can i just share that he seems to have the same square-y side-bangs (? Idk how to call them) and long oval face that Lila has? Would it be too far fetched to think that this might be Lila's dad?? Since we know about her mom but not much about her dad.

I am probably wrong, but the only other thing I can think about is that Lila willingly destroyed Skiddad's face in every picture he appears in, except this one, where it was destroyed by time itself since it's an old photo. I feel like that could mean it's not Skiddad?? If it was, Lila would've torn off his face herself. I dunno I might be overanalyzing stuff at this point

It's very odd to me that she wouldn't destroy the picture herself if that really was Skiddad! I mean, we've seen she clearly HATES HIM by this point, and she basically tracked down every single picture of him to rip his face off of them. But she clearly remembered having this specific picture, because when Skid asked Lila about what she used to do on Halloween as a kid, Lila immediately brought this picture up. Also she had easy access to that album, I don't think she would overlook something like that while she was destroying every last bit of memory of her husband.

We know that Lila was left alone with her mom since very young, cause we have some pictures of her as a child and Grandma, but no pictures of her dad at all. And also! Y'know how in Spooky Month characters designs, children usually have traits from both their parents (ex. Jaune, Aaron and Ross being a mix of the two)?

Lila just got her mom's hair color, so this means she must've gotten her square-y hair from her dad. And also, in this picture she looks older than when in the picture with Bob (she looks pre-teen-ish??? Like, ten?? Eleven?), so it's totally possible for that to have been her dad, who later on died/left/disappeared/whatever, before she became a teenager.

I think the lack of Skid and Lila Family Lore might actually be diving me insane.

I think that as a society we moved on way too fast from that one Sr Pelo tweet that implied that Simon/Skiddad does NOT love or care for Lila in the slightest

  1. This guy used to do Steven Universe theory videos
  2. Spooky Month is a show that thrives on character design matching a character's occupation or personality: Radford works as a movie attendant? His hair is shaped like popcorn and his glasses are red and blue. Pump's mask has a big tooth on it? He's missing a tooth in the same spot, so on and so forth

I don't know how you could look at the crooks of Skiddad's hair, and not think "oh, they're shaped like that to match spider legs/the feelers on Eyes", but "oh, Lila got it on with a giant fucking spider"

We literally see the spider WITH Skiddad in the picture F!Thief holds up moments prior being attacked by said spider, HOW DO YOU NOT THINK "oh it was skiddad's spider" AND GO STRAIGHT TO "the spider is the dad"

I don't know what's all this about Lila fucking a giant spider and at this point i'm too afraid to ask.

As in, I know that some youtuber made this stupid ass theory, but i genuinely have NO CLUE where you would even get something like THIS out of all the clues about Skiddad we've been given??? And I refuse to watch that theory video for clarification because i believe id get so angry id genuinely burst a vein.

Ive always been under the impression that the latin book was written by Skid's Dad/Simon himself, so yeah it's probably not that old. The implication that it could be about poor Hope's fate, though... I really pray John gets some justice, eventually.

THAT HALF-SCRATCHED OUT FIGURE IN THE BACKGROUND MAKES ME THINK A LOT. It could be Skid's dad since it looks like it has hair crooks, but if it were him, that would be that he was an adult when Lila was a child, which is hopefully not the case.
