I still don't know what you know about SNS, SO-

These are SNS DD and MM, Dear and Mear! They swap with Skid and Pump

I bring them up because Dear's squirt gun has something he calls "dusty juice", it melts anything it touches

What I am saying is Patty should get to use that gun at some point, as a treat

YES HOLY SHIT, Patty gets to have a gun ~~legally~~

I was thinking for Mort and Patty, they're the two certified weird kids™ that are really into corpses and rot and bones and stuff. They might have some sort of rivalry with John and Jack because they're pretty much against rules and are willing to go to unethical lenghts to do their own things (which, since they're middle schoolers, is probably like. Trespassing at night to go to the cemetery and stuff like that).

For the Skirtz, Regina and Rachel are morticians (Regina being the one that gets possessed), Regan is a doctor and local mole for the cult.

OHOHO LET'S SEE

1) Rachel is based off of Carrie White. Her mother is called Margaret for this reason. While Regan's backstory is based off of IT.

2) Rachel is a big crybaby and a bit of a coward, but also the only one of the trio that actually watches horror movies regularly. Regan prefers sci-fi. Regina prefers TV dramas, but has cried several times over romantic movies.

3) Regina is really good with little kids. Regan is also good with them, but she tends to be too overbearing with them. Rachel is very sweet towards them but struggles at taking care of them because she gets anxiety over having that much responsability.

4) Despite having a stronger moral code than Roy, Regina thinks of herself as "a bad person". Whenever she gets upset with someone, she takes it way too far and she'll bring up very personal details from their personal life. She'll then spend the rest of the day feeling horrible about it.

5) Regina has a sister! Or, well, adoptive sister. As she calls it, "not my sister, just some random ass orphan that for some reason they told my dad to keep an eye on". They do not get along.

6) Rachel very rarely sleeps at her own home. She's scared of her mom, so she usually leaves to sleep somewhere else during the night. She'll often crash at Regan or Regina's places, but when that's not available, she has a designated park bench where she often sleeps. Whenever John and Jack are on night patrol, they know to check the park to see if Rachel's there. And if she is, they let her stay at the station. She never goes to her brother's apartament to sleep. She doesn't wanna bother him.

7) Rachel was raised christian! And still is. She has just refused to go to church since she came out. She has no idea what the people in church, or the priest, might say or do if they saw her like that. She's scared.

8) Regan takes care of Michelle's cats. She feeds them and plays with them on Michelle's behalf.

9) Rachel is the most sympatethic of the squad towards Roy. Regan and him bicker, but Regan doesn't have any particular beef with him.

Since apparently Hope's disappearance was the reason John and Jack became friends in the first place (or at least, that's what I got from what Pelo said in the clip where he confirmed her death), I think she was one of the kids that disappeared via kidnapping by the cult, the first ever kid to disappear, even! And that's why John has been so dead set on busting the cult since before the house fire. Expecially since he's always been sad and borderline depressed, during Tender Treats (supposedly, one year after the fire) he didn't seem particularly sadder than usual. I feel like he'd have been WAY MORE devastated if his daughter had literally DIED in that fire. Even with Evermore, he just mentioned his house burning down, and not his literal daughter's death??? Yeah no I think she died prior to the start of the serie. And since Ignacio was the one who was tasked with keeping tabs on John, and who had private picture of him and Hope in his house, i think he was the person who kidnapped her and sacrificed her. Maybe i'm just looking too much into this but idk

They set up a fake extermination appointment and jump Dexter when he gets there. Somehow this ends up with him stealing a cultist dagger, stabbing one of them (non fatally of course), and then Dexter sprinting to the nearest crowded place so he can lose them/they won't follow. After he thinks he's in the clear, he calls his mom to make sure she's okay, then heads over to talk to Patty

After this, for "some mysterious reason", Ignacio has a fresh, newly medicated stab wound that he refuses to elaborate on.

John is Not Thrilled™ to see Dexter waiting in his office with Patty. We know Dexter has a criminal record, so he must've been arrested at least once, probably for animal abuse, so John is immediately wary of him after seeing him covered in blood and scratches that indicate a fight. It takes both Dexter, Patty and Jack telling him to not freak out to stop him from arresting him again on the spot, and even then, he's not convinced.

Mostly made as a joke but it does indicate the cult knows of him

I feel like within the AU the cult's interest regarding Dexter would only really start once he starts hanging around Lila and Skid, especially after Bob's death -- which Dexter was probably at least partly responsible for.

Weird exterminator protecting wife and son of dead cult leader? Good! Said exterminator also interfering with other members and plots? Not good!

And they can't really sacrifice him either, since his mom would put up a fuss, and taking both of them would just look really suspicious

At worst (at least for now), cultists would probably just be sent to monitor Dexter and his mom as they figure out what would be the best course of action

They might decide to pull a Father Gregor During the Hollow Sorrows Finale and kidnap him to brainwash him into joining them, but they'd find that 1) He can defend himself a little TOO good and 2) after getting possessed several times, he's a little too resistant to paranormal than he should be.

I feel like maybe he'd also go snitch to Patty about the attempted kidnapping, since I assume they know one another now after the whole Moloch deal, and she'd be all like "oh God wait here you have to tell this to a certain someone"

And in come John and Jack.
