Regina spill the tea and tell when and why ur rivalry with roy started pretty please 🙏
"Damn, this party sucks. Wanna go to my room and play videogames?"
"Hell yeah. Better than staying here for sure."
"... It's nothing important. It was from years ago, when my dad and Roy's parents would host these big fancy parties- Our families were "work associates", I dunno with what, so while they did their own things, they'd put Roy and me together and expect us to get along, as adults do."
"I think we did get along, for some time? My memory's so blurry-... We didn't immediately become friends but I remember warming up to him at some point."
"And then he ruined everything. Of course he did. And he just got worse from there on, so our 'friendship' never really recovered."
"...Funny thing is, I don't even remember clearly what happened. Just...Pieces of it. I suppose it was just too long ago."
"If I forgot about it, it couldn't have been that important anyway."
Congrats, you guys are starting to tap into The Lore™ 😔
Some random Skirtzsquad facts!
-Regan is actually the sporty/tomboyish girl of the squad. She plays football and is jealous of Robert for having a policeman uncle (HER uncle is just a "boring old accountant" and she hates it), so she's been trying to bribe Captain and Shotgun into pretending she's their niece. It's starting to work. She also has several siblings, but they apparently don't get along much.
-Rachel plays the violin. The violin she owns was a gift from Regina herself, cause Rachel can't afford it. She's on the constant verge of being kicked out by her shitty parents (who just can't accept that their child is happier as a girl, it would seem), so her older brother is trying to have her move in with him. She's doesn't want to be a burden on him tho, she knows he's struggling a lot to keep a job as it is and doesn't want to add onto the stress. Also, since her brother changes job so much, she gets a bunch of small priviledges (free halloween costumes when he worked at the mall, free candies when he worked at the Candy Club, and so on).
-Regina does ballet. Her father missed every single dance recital since she started, but she keeps saving a seat for him in the public every single time, hoping he'll show up one day. Regan and Rachel never missed ONE recital. One time Regan had broken her arm falling down her skateboard, and Rachel was grounded for a month, and they still both showed up at Regina's recital that evening. Evermore doesn't like Regina hanging out with them, they put "weird ideas in her head" (aka, call him out on being a terrible dad), and he hates it. Also, Regina is painfully aware that there is not a single painting depicting her in her dad's office. Just himself.
Also. Evermore attempting to sway Moloch to his side while Moloch is possessing his daughter just. Makes me think of:
Evermore attempts to sway Moloch -> Moloch attacks him -> Garcia hits Regina on the back to get her to cough up Moloch -> Moloch just possesses Evermore since Regina was on top of him -> Gregor THEN exorcises Evermore
Moloch goes through four bodies back to back in like two minutes and I just think that's funny
Poor Regina was desperately asking for her dad's help and he was all like "So. Mr. Demon. How much would you want to help us out with something? Cause i got money."
After this, Regina's EXHAUSTED and coughing her lungs up, and Evermore just. Doesn't care. He makes an half-assed comment about how Regina was USELESS in all this, about how she couldn't even stand getting possessed for a couple minutes to help him out with his "special project", and then starts complaining to Garcia about how he shouldn't act without him specifically asking him to do so. Cue Regan and Rachel grabbing Regina and leaving, cussing everyone on the way out. They're SO upset.
Regina is Evermore's daughter?? Oooo that makes things INTERESTING
Yep! Regina N. Evermore!
That's the only reason she can mess with Roy so much without pretty much any consequences at all, and without Carmen raising absolute HELL about it. Being the Mayor's daughter has its perks, if you don't consider the fact that her father literally forgets her existence on a daily basis cause he's too focused on himself to care. That, and the weird people that come and go from his office all the time, that Regina is absolutely TERRIFIED of. Like the scary clown or the mean man with the matchsticks or the robed figures...
Since apparently Hope's disappearance was the reason John and Jack became friends in the first place (or at least, that's what I got from what Pelo said in the clip where he confirmed her death), I think she was one of the kids that disappeared via kidnapping by the cult, the first ever kid to disappear, even! And that's why John has been so dead set on busting the cult since before the house fire. Expecially since he's always been sad and borderline depressed, during Tender Treats (supposedly, one year after the fire) he didn't seem particularly sadder than usual. I feel like he'd have been WAY MORE devastated if his daughter had literally DIED in that fire. Even with Evermore, he just mentioned his house burning down, and not his literal daughter's death??? Yeah no I think she died prior to the start of the serie. And since Ignacio was the one who was tasked with keeping tabs on John, and who had private picture of him and Hope in his house, i think he was the person who kidnapped her and sacrificed her. Maybe i'm just looking too much into this but idk
