WAIT ISN’T THIS ONE OF THOSE THINGS WHERE MAMA TIGERS PRETEND TO GET SCARED BY THEIR BABIES TO TEACH THEIR BABIES HOW TO HUNT AND GIVE THEM CONFIDENCE
Like you can see Mama Tiger has her ears pointed back to where Baby is so clearly she knows her baby’s back there and is listening in that direction
GOD THIS IS SO CUTE
As always I wish a lot more feminists recognised that reproductive rights is not only about the right to not have children, but also the right to have children
Access to abortion is important, but so is fighting forced sterilisation, which almost always targets marginalised groups, especially disabled women, trans women, poor women and women of colour (and lets not pretend that doesn’t factor into why the issue is looked over by more privileged feminists)
They are both issues of reproductive rights and bodily autonomy and you can not have one without the other
“Curtains” (1983)
Everyone who worked on the film has a Carrie story, but the sweetest and most heartbreaking one belongs to Isaac:
“One of my favorite things that would happen from time to time on set would be when Carrie would sing old songs,” he says. “Whenever that would happen I would offer her my hand and we would waltz around the set – on a starship, in a Rebel base, on an alien planet, and she would sing and we would dance. So surreal and beautiful to think about now. For all of her delicious, wicked humor and fiery energy she also had such sweet grace. I miss her dearly.”

Another cute photo of Rue McClanahan; a publicity shot for ABC’s Apple Pie, posing with costar Dabney Coleman in 1978.
