LOTH & ARYA
Their first meeting.
There was nothing new to separate this battlefield from the rest. Loth was bloody and exhausted but that felt more familiar than clean amour and quiet halls did nowadays.
It was there, on just another nameless planet fighting another nameless conflict, that Loth saw the Jedi. She was bruised and dirty, mud and gore clinging to her, but the light of her sabers and the waning sun eclipsed her as she leapt toward yet another droid.
She fought just like his brothers, feral and full of rage. Loth did not often find solace in the Jedi that were supposed to be commanding the GAR, burned too often before, but he found comfort in someone who had the same expression on their face as the men who's names were tattooed on his forearm, remembered only by the ink and his nightmares.
As the battle raged around him, his helmet lost somewhere in the chaos, ears ringing from blaster shots and his dying brothers, Loth watched the Jedi fight not for glory, or power, but to protect them. And he wondered if this was why people prayed.
