Because of my appearance I've dealt with multiple instances of other white people "casually" expressing their racism to me and much to their chagrin are provided an unexpected (and loudly spoken) lesson on how I ain't that dude you should feel comfortable expressing your hate to.
I'll do this in a Publix while waiting in line, at family events, at your cousins wedding and the point is by not speaking up and making that person feel uncomfortable as fuck I'm making it acceptable for them to continue thinking it's okay to spread their hate as they feel fit and as I may not change their views; they sure as shit will think next time before allowing those ideas to sprout in the minds of others.
I am by no means intimidating in an aesthetic sense. I am a white male in his early thirties and I cannot say I to any degree know what it feels like to be a POC or the deep-rooted, disgusting, and bigoted encounters one may face on a daily basis so I must speak through passionate empathy on these matters but BLATANT racism is still incredibly prevalent and we MUST, BY ANY MEANS, #makeracistafraidagain.
