So let me get this straight, Damian grew up in the League of Assassins before he met his father Bruce for the first time, Jason spent a couple of years training with them before he met his ex-father Bruce for the first time after his resurrection and Cassandra has worked under the league before she met her future father Bruce for the first time.

Three of Bruce children/would-be-children worked in the same exact organization possibly at the same exact time before they even knew they were meant to be siblings, and no one bothered to write something about that?? I’m disappointed in this fandom right now.

This might sounds like a weird combination to some, but I honestly would love to see the relationship between Talia and Tim to be fleshed-out more?

She has an established relationship with Dick, Jason & Damian, but as far as I know B:TRORAG is probably the only time she interacted with Tim one-on-one and personally I got major “overbearing step-mom who gives surprisingly good advice when she wants to” vibes from her and I will find it interesting to see more of this duo.

It will probably be very similar to his relationship with Damian, except much more civilized since unlike Damian who is just straight-up rude, Talia is more subtle with her shade, so Tim would probably not see red every time he talks to her (not to mention she’s both older than him and could kick his ass in a second) and will actually be able to have a full conversation in respectful manners with her and while Talia might view him as an aggravating mess, she will probably see a lot of potential in him and advise him whenever he needs to in the most passive-aggressive way possible.

Case Study: Cassandra, Damian, and Tim

I read Batman: Gates of Gotham just now because my library happened to have it and it actually includes Cassandra (!). It might also be the last substantial appearance of Cassandra/Black Bat in the Post-Crisis canon (!!!). Naturally, I have to wax poetic about it with panels and long diatribes concerning batsibling relationships.

Context: Gates of Gotham (GoG) is a five-issue limited series published in May 2011, making it a very late addition to canon before the New 52 launched around September. At least, I’m pretty sure this is a canon story. Scott Snyder got first billing on the cover, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this story was prototyping some of the stuff for the Court of Owls.

But who cares about canonicity when we get Cass, Damian and Tim all interacting in the same book?!
