In less than 50 days, the Land Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) will expire – the program that for decades has helped to protect our most iconic parks like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Big Sur. Without it, parks across the country – everything from nationally-significant landscapes to city parks and baseball diamonds – that deserve protection will lose critical funding. This is exactly what Koch brothers-backed groups are pushing for so that many of these lands will be opened for logging, drilling, and mining.
LWCF has helped protect our beautiful public lands for decades. We can’t let the LWCF – and our future parks – disappear because of polluter interests. Send a message to Congress today and tell them our public lands are too precious to lose.
