Spoonie tip of the day
Sometimes you know your body better than doctors. Your gut feeling is everything, try not to ignore it. You know your body better than the medical doctors and they should listen to you.
I ignored my gut feeling that something was wrong because a doctor told me, “Everyone experiences that sometimes.” I finally got taken seriously when I was so sick I could barely walk on my own, but by then, I was so used to ignoring the pain signals from my own body and ignoring my instincts that I still have a hard time believing my gut feelings. You are the expert on your own body, and as hard as it is, you have to resist the messages to ignore your own gut feelings. Your instincts are usually right.
