this is your not so friendly reminder that Gal Gadot has openly supported the IDF and posted a picture with the hashtags “we are right” and “I love the IDF” following a bombing of Gaza that left innocent Palestinians - including children - dead.

She directly and openly supports a genocidal state that oppresses and strips rights away from Palestinians on a daily basis.

So fuck her, fuck her “I want my neighbors to be safe” narrative that is simply untrue based on her past actions, and fuck white feminists for trying to paint her as this “girlboss!!!!!!” because she plays Wonder Woman.

For people in the comments defending her: are you reaaaaally that blind and ignorant to call her queen, while she is clearly supporting genocide and about to make a documentary on National Geographic about how 'to protect your land from colonizers' which is the highest form of hypocrisy and mass media manipulation?? Defending palestine is not a propaganda, it's an obligation that every human being should take on themselves just because they are humans like us and this has been gone for too long to keep silent.

Here’s the thing(s):

Medium is not a magazine, it’s a place where anyone can post anything they feel like. It’s not a journalistic source.
It was released the same day as the Justice League Premier in a clear attempt to impact the success of the movie and Gal’s career
Even if it was true, it spends the entire time demonizing teenaged Gal Gadot for blaming the victim rather than actually discussing the rapist any - and that’s suspicious given that they claim the rapist works in the modeling/photography industry. What is the purpose of this article? What is its intention? Why is this about Gal Gadot and not the rapist?

But there’s other things:

It was spread on 4chan
The language does not really read like a survivor, it reads like an angry reddit user. [Examples following]:
The writer spends time deriding Gal Gadot for being on the cover of Maxim in a bikini while they were getting a “Women’s and Gender Studies degree,” completely forgetting…Gal Gadot got a law degree? Shaming her for modeling while they also claim to have been a model.
The writer claims that Gal “used sex as a weapon,” to intimidate and swindle “small” men, weak ones, and would get physically aggressive with them if they insisted they wanted to have sex with her. Keep in mind she’s supposed to be 19 during this part of the story. And yet she is written as a scheming and conniving woman leveraging the idea of sex against innocent (much older!) men.
While Gal was in a few international campaigns, she did not model until the late 2000′s, and this person claims the event happened 13 years ago, in 2004, when Gal was 19. But Gal was Miss Israel in 2004 (she entered at age 18), not an international model. She did compete in Miss Universe, and presumably turned 19 during this process. I don’t remember them mentioning Miss Universe at all (which was in…Ecuador! Not Italy!). She then served her mandatory 2-year term in the IDF
This person goes on a tangent rant about how much she hates Palestinians, seemingly for no real reason or purpose, despite Gal being an open advocate for co-existence with Palestinians.
This article comes out AFTER Gal becomes vocally and publicly supportive of other victims.
almost all of this article is calling a 19 year old girl a vicious predator….for being preyed on by older men hoping to take advantage of her, essentially, which is fishy AT BEST!

it sounds like a lot of people eagerly accepted antisemitic rumors of Gal Gadot in order to confirm a “legitimate” reason to hate her.

These notes….. Y'all don’t know Gal Gadot is a Zionist who supports the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the West bank and Gaza? She used to be a member of the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces), and accused Palestinians of using their children as human shields during the 2014 Israeli slaughter in Gaza when it was the Israeli government who targeted orphanages, hospitals, and schools. I know Brett Ratner is a piece of shit, but y'all need to get find an advocate who doesn’t support genocide.

Do you guys educate yourselves? Do you read? Do you actually logically read things instead of reblogging posts on tumblr with innacurate information? Gal HAS NEVER said she supported the killing of innocent Palestinians. She has on record said that in her perfect world she wished that there was peace and that people can get along. The individuals who were in fact using women and children as human shields are Hamas and are in fact a terrorist group in Palestine. She was part of the IDF because every Israeli citizen is required to serve for a minimum of 2 years. Her job was a fitness instructor. She never went out in the field. She never shot innocent Palestinians. Stop this inaccurate chain of false information to fit a narrative that isn’t there. And also, fuck you for implying that Israeli citizens who have to serve in their country’s defense force support genocide.
