I am still learning how to draw bodies everyday too!! Here’s what I’ve accumulated through art school and what I’ve learned.
Drawing from life and reference pictures is very helpful, you learn how interpret what you’re seeing into your own style. You don’t always have to draw EVERY line you see. Starting out it’s much easier to draw everything you see, but as you develop your skills and muscle memory, you learn what to edit out and that’s how a style develops :). Looking at artists you admire how they draw bodies also helps. Take note of how they interpret form. What do they choose to omit to make it more visually pleasing? Cross reference with actual anatomy/photos, sometimes artists choose to exaggerate certain muscles or forms to suit their style.
Check out this book: Anatomy for artists: Drawing form & pose by tomfoxdraws it is a great and extensive book on how form is broken down. It helped me see how bodies exist on a plane vs just floating in space.

(please, say it's a happy ending 🥹, if not I wouldn't be able to stomach it if Sarsenbi and Mallow end badly) Unless that's an important spoiler, if so you can ignore the question XD

Thank you for your kind words!!! I'm trying to think of an answer for this without spoilers... Let's say I'm hoping to expand more of their story. Regardless of how this book ends, I have plans for more.
My idea for this book started as just a few pages of me wanting to just depict their meeting and then it just grew and grew into what it is now. I didn't start with a script or a plan, it was all like off of vibes. But I'm proud of finishing what I have done, even though I'm nervous of putting it out there. Thank you again for your kind words, I hope you enjoy my book regardless ;w;

I've started back up on my little comic of them. I feel like invigorated again to work on it. Sometimes I second guess myself about the little story I've come up with, but that I just shake it off because I just want to finish something! Without! The Anxiety! of what other people might think of the outcome. It prevents me from finishing/sharing a lot of things. But I'm trying to push forward, I hope you all can still be excited for it a whole year later after I thought I'd finish it.
