You just know Draco is about to lose that wand in 0.3 secs lol I loved this prompt the moment I saw it, it was hard to chose only one pet for Harry because I wanted to draw them with a bunch of cute animals!

Here is the story I imagined for the prompt:

Harry’s pet is a lovebird called “Gio” that accidentally chew on a chocolate cookie (I did a bit of research on pet care and learned that in real life, chocolate is really bad for birds and all animals in general, always be watchful with what your pet eat!) but fear not, Harry took Gio immediately to the only magical Vet on town that happens to be Draco Malfoy, and after a few diagnostic spells that came back negative, it was determined that he is perfectly healthy! all’s right with the world again! oh and look, there is even time for two former school rivals to flirt a little with each other ;D

So this is unbetaʼd and also it’s 3 am but I just needed to. Feel free to continue it if you want to (?)

“You need to impress him,” Neville had said.

“You need to outrage him, mate,” Ron had added, clearly amused by the whole situation.

“You need to wear something that will catch his attention,” Hermione had pointed out. “Like your Quidditch attire! He always stares at you when youʼre wearing it.” 

“Didnʼt he miss the Snitch once because he was too busy drooling over Harry?” Dean had recalled. 

“Oooh, he did,” Seamus had cut in, “Good idea, Hermione. But letʼs not forget you also need to blow his mind!” 

“You and your obsession with blowing stuff…” 

“I really hope that wasnʼt a sex joke!” Ron had said, pointing an accusatory finger at Dean. 

As the boys snickered, Ginny had pulled out her wand and announced, “I know just what Harry needs!”

And so here Harry was now: awkwardly standing by the Three Broomsticks, looking sporty, ridiculous, feminine, masculine and apparently hot all at once, waiting for Draco to show up. Draco, who was his date. Okay—fake date. Or at least officially. Harry wasnʼt sure what it actually was anymore—not since heʼd seen the way Draco had blushed that morning while being teased for having a date with his arch-enemy. Not after the way Harryʼs heart had jumped at the small, thrilled smile that Draco had shot at his breakfast once everyone had looked away.

Harry shouldnʼt have been looking. He shouldnʼt have cared. He most definitely shouldnʼt have felt so thrilled himself. The whole point of Zabiniʼs drunken dare had been to embarrass the both of them, for Merlinʼs sake, not to…whatever it was that was going on. 

“Potter, what in the name of Salazar are you wearing.” Harryʼs eyes snapped up. Malfoy was regarding him with an arched eyebrow—with a charming flush bringing out his sharp cheekbones. 

“Clothes,” Harry replied. “Theyʼre Muggle, though, so donʼt feel ashamed if your pureblood brain needs a moment or two to catch up.”

It had been meant as a joke, but Draco seemed to be too distracted by the crop top to rise to the bait. “Ah. I see. Very well.” 

“Shall we go in, then?” Harry asked. 

“Oh, no, Iʼm not walking in there with you looking like that. I have a reputation, you see.” For all that he sounded composed, Malfoy sure had trouble tearing his gaze away from Harryʼs stomach. Harry wondered if the idiot liked what he saw. He wanted to think Quidditch had made him look kinda fit, and he liked the line of hair that started at his sternum and thickened as it approached his navel—the band of his trousers. But Draco could very well hate all of it, for all he knew. “No, we’d better go somewhere more…” 

“Secluded?” Harry offered. When Dracoʼs eyes widened comically, he added, “So that no one will see me looking like this, of course.” 

“R-Right, yeah. Of course.” Dracoʼs eyes seemed drawn to Harryʼs stomach again, and when he sharply looked away Harry realised he wanted those eyes back on his skin. “Shrieking Shack?”

Harry snickered. “Plan on making me scream, Malfoy?” Before Draco could turn his outraged splutter into actual words, he walked past the idiot, brushing their shoulders together, and said, “Sounds like a plan.”

Hello everyone, I’m Sirene I decided to open up art commissions because I desperately need to buy food and medicines for my family. Recently, my mom fainted and hit her head when she fell down because she had barely eaten that day. We are from Venezuela and my country is currently going through one of the most horrible crisis in our history, it’s truly inhuman what we are suffering here, we are having one or two meals a day because not even a month’s worth of salary is enough for us to buy all the food we need.
