Author Anne Rice has died at the age of 80.

The star, whose popular books include Interview With A Vampire and The Vampire Chronicles, died surrounded by her family on Saturday night.

Her son, Christopher, confirmed the sad news on a statement on her public Facebook page, and explained that she died due to complications resulting from a stroke.

‘Dearest People of Page. This is Anne’s son Christopher and it breaks my heart to bring you this sad news,’ he began. ‘Earlier tonight, Anne passed away due to complications resulting from a stroke. She left us almost nineteen years to the day my father, her husband Stan, died.

Saturday Six (Stuff)

We were supposed to get snow last night but I woke up to cold wind, and no snow. So that's a bonus I guess. （’-’*)
My sleep schedule is way out of whack, with work not really happening, and everything. Idk how to fix it. Ugh. ヾ(*´ー`)ノ
I guess I'm mostly done with Xmas shopping. I bought too much for the Dude (@super-ultra-mega-kami-guru-blog ) as usual. But that's OK. I'm able to do it, so why not? ヾ(◍’౪`◍)ﾉﾞ♡
I just wish I had a better relationship with the family, ya know? Oh well. It is what it is. (。-ω-)ﾉ
I'm worried about Kitty MeOw. Her eating habits seem off lately. She is 18 years old now. I don't like it. (^・ω・^ )

Bonus - I tried to watch my special edition DVDs of LOTR last night (because it's the 20th anniversary of the theatrical release) but I forgot that they were corrupted somehow (? Maybe because my copy is 10-11 years old lol) and I couldn't make through the first movie. Very upset but maybe I'll just have to watch the regular version on HBO Max. ヾ(´A｀)ノﾟ
