Extremely concerning how people have boiled down our community to "whose side are you on?" I'm on everyone's side here. There's one side. Get on it. Take my hand, direct your anger where it belongs; together we can make a better world. Trans people with experiences that differ from yours are your siblings in arms, not your enemy.

"This person is making me uncomfortable" suggests they're actively doing something to or at you. And sometimes people are! But sometimes. You are just uncomfortable with people when they aren't doing anything. And that's on you not them.

"memory write failure at address 0xeb008a": good error message. describes the problem well enough to enable troubleshooting by an experienced user.

"something went wrong, please try again": bad error message. does not tell me anything useful.

"oops! something blooped! 🙁": I will kill you with my bare teeth

It always makes me wonder when I bump into a really serious Homestuck fan who's under the age of 25, because that means either you were reading it when you were eight years old, or you got into it when it was well past its peak and you're still Like This, and both options raise fascinating questions.
