One thing I love about the transformers fandom:
No matter what Decepticon defects to the Autobots, it’s always Miko who befriends them first.
And not just out of pure, innocent love like Cody Burns, oh no, this girl spites them into being her friends.
Breakdown defects? She’ll probably sass him into being nice like “Oooh, big bad Decepticon can’t beat a measly human in a simulator!” And proceed to kick his aft in a video game, only for him to be all “That’s not how it’s actually done!” And then to prove it, they go racing or dune smashing, and unlike Bulkhead, Breakdown is “no restrictions” and guns the dunes. Miko is enjoying herself completely, and they keep this activity from Bulkhead so he doesn’t worry.
Is it Knock Out that defects? She’d probably end up trying to out art him or out race him in some way that leads to them bonding over color schemes, racing, and just general gossip.
Maybe it was a group of Vehicons? She’s the first to outwardly express frustration at being unable to tell them apart (the others had trouble too, but the humans stayed silent to be polite and the Bots relied on Spark field signals) and begins painting all over the Vehicons and names them. (She even paints the name on one of them cuz she couldn’t decide on a paintjob for him)
Starscream defects? Oh, boy. She at first wants nothing to do with him, cuz he hurt Arcee (whom she secretly considers an older sister) and gives him absolute hell for being a Decepticon. She teases him relentlessly about how he was Meg’s lackey and how many times he was blown up for being an unsuccessful backstabber. But eventually, they gain each other’s respects and have a relation similar to Knock Out’s where they get together regularly and gossip about everyone.
Then she meets Cody who simply wins everyone over with being a completely pure cinnamon roll.
She swears she will murder whoever hurts him in the slightest, and every Cybertronian believes it.
