Star Wars Rebels expectations

So there is apparently an episode either already out or coming out where the clankers from the clone wars are either reactivated or something and they have to deal with them. So Rex and Kanan are getting flashbacks I think of actually fighting them alongside jedi and clones, but the others are now realizing what it felt like to be in the war fighting them. 

I had this idea before the episode came out, in the clone wars when obi wan is fighting grevious, he asks about the no loyalty in the droids, but grevious responds by ‘having a future where there are no jedi’ 

so I thought that when the droids are reawakened and find out there s no more republic and jedi, there be either a reporter or the droids go on all social media and block everything so they can thank the ‘empire’ because their objectives are ‘complete’. ‘You have done our job for us while we were waiting, thank you for destroying the republic and jedi’ or something along the lines and everyone gets into a panic because the confids that were with the ‘traitorous jedi’ were congratulating them for doing their jobs, and getting rid of the republic and JEDI. 

Riots happen because ‘oh bleep’ they did something bad and now there are no jedi to help them because why would any remains want to help the body that cheered as they were destroyed. 

It would be interesting if at the same time someone helped upload the holocron that Obi wan made, the one in Kanan’s hand, public for anyone to see. Also seeing the footage of the temple massacre. Because who was in there? All the fit and active were out fighting. The ones in the temple were children and the elderly, along with the injured. They killed those that were NOT fighting, and now have to deal with the fact that ‘they’ completed the goals of their enemy. 

The thing is, I know this won’t happen because otherwise they would have dissolved by the time of A New Hope. But this is a good AU if someone could write it.
