I kinda always have this thing in the back of my head where this temple is ready to share force sensitive abilities to non force sensitives.
It happened when the sith empire was still a thing. Jedi and force sensitives understood the pain the universe was in with the sith just adding to it and yet no one really seemed to care or like jedi for following the force, for feeling the deaths and hatred and just general force things.
I have this random jedi that was not well liked by their parents and people around them bc they did not understand what the force felt like to them. However they used their ability to do not so legal or good things before the jedi came and got them out of their custody. So they barely escaped becoming a dark sider or sith and got their trust broken by non force sensitives and an example of the jedi 'stealing children'.
Thankfully liked being a jedi more than sith bc they felt it. They felt it everytime they did awful things to people but just wanted to be accepted by family and friends that they had to endure it. Being a jedi allowed them to feel peace, acceptance, understanding and let them heal the universe instead of furthering fear and hatred.
The thing was... They never really trusted those that could not feel the force. Because while jedi do not tell ppl how to live their lives they can feel the effects. They could not understand, all they heard was mystic mumble jumbo unless the effects were powerful enough to let non force sensitives feel it.
So they had this project: make a thing to let non force sensitives feel the force. Not make them able to manipulate it, no that was beyond their reach. Just make everyone feel the force - the empathy of good, bad ect. The bare minimum. Just feel the state of the galaxy and not become full jedi or sith - or non group force sensitives. It would basically make everyone empath.
However, it was not really something a lot of ppl liked bc they didnt have the ability so why bother, too costly and worry about the misuse ect
This jedi gathered the others they had found, those that were not accepted by their family bc of them being force sensitive. If others could just feel what was happening then maybe this would not happen again.
So they made a temple and the force flowed through them for their success. But it was not able to be completed/turn on until the clone wars - why? Bc reasons.
So anyway turn to the clone wars. Jedi are tired. There is all this death, pain and misery everywhere they go but they are generals for the republic. They deal but non jedi do not understand. Until they come across this old jedi temple and activate it.
It pulses out the things to make everyone non force sensitive empathetic to everything in the galaxy at once. Feeling what the jedi feel. Not able to manipulate the force but they feel the darkness, the pain and suffering and death all at once. Thankfully no one dies and there were no fights happening.
A message also come sup on the holonet everywhere with the jedi who made this happen explain that they are tired of the sith worsening the galaxy. That the jedi are powerless to stop it but feel everything yet the ones who do not feel anything worsen everything ect.
Therefore the jedi says, they decided that if the jedi could not convince anyone then they have to feel everything that is happening. They have to feel the suffering of their citizens and neighbors. They have to feel the death and destruction and feel it when they are doing so. Feel the intense agony from centuries past that still give pain to those that feel it. They have to feel everything.
But it isnt just negative. Feel the positives as well. Feel the love, devotion and care people feel for you. Feel the good things.
While this project started bc of all the negatives, feel the positives. Feel the force and know the love.
Basically jedi are sending care and love to their clone troopers while this is happening and their worry.
Jedi have been described as emotionless but when ppl can feel the force it isnt so.
Also headcanon that jedi communication tends to also be through the force and emotions.
Yeah... The galaxy feels everything but can not do anything with it except with how they go about their daily lives.
