This character development!
1. The “Lexa and I” line wasn’t in the original script for 3x05 – it was improvised by Eliza Taylor so the post-production team decided to keep that version for the final scene.
2. Lexa crying during the love scene in 3x07 wasn’t scripted it was all improvised by Alycia Debnam-Carey to bring more emotions to her character Lexa.
3. The “Oh my god” line was improvided by Eliza Taylor since originally it was not on the script. In the same scene the hug between Clarke and Lexa was improvised by the two ladies
“Alycia and I loved to talk about flowers behind the scenes, like we would google flowers. She was my flower buddy, I miss her.“

Did any of your fight training from that show help out with Fear? “Surprisingly, yes it has! Yeah, I did so much fight training on The 100, so when I came to [Fear The Walking Dead]…”

@debnamcarey: @miselizajane- my partner in crime and one hell of a leading lady. What a powerhouse.
@miselizajane: It was hardest to let myself go to the scary, feely place!! @debnamcarey makes it all too easy, she’s amazing.
“It has been an honour to portray her. To envelop myself in her skin. To be given the freedom to represent a moment in our cultural and social zeitgeist - she has left a great imprint on me. I will miss her. May we meet again.” - Alycia (on Lexa)
elizajaneface: So good to see ma gal!!! #tca #the100 @alyciajasmin xx
another meme: life ruiners (24/50) → alycia debnam-carey “The first couple episodes, [Lexa]’s very cold-hearted. She’s a very young character with such authority and seeing her open up from this closed-off person - ruthless, pragmatic and logical - to see her finally open up and Clarke being such a catalyst for that, there’s an innocence and a vulnerability that is lovely to see. That’s been a really fun journey for me to play.”
