Right now, my most controversial opinion is "Genocide is bad."
You should be furious that people trying to escape genocide in Gaza, Sudan, Congo all need raise an absurd amount of money just to survive
You should be furious at how these people went through atrocity after atrocity and still need raise tens of thousands of dollars to get away
You should be furious at this insidious thing that completely encapsulates how capitalism feeds off of blood
Don't stop talking about Palestine 🇵🇸
Joe Biden has called for an “immediate ceasefire” in Gaza, telling Benjamin Netanyahu that future US support for Israel will depend on it taking concrete action to protect civilians and aid workers. As the two leaders held their first phone call since Israeli airstrikes killed seven employees of the international food charity World Central Kitchen (WCK), Biden issued the strongest US rebuke toward Israel since the start of the conflict. In Thursday’s call, which lasted less than 30 minutes, the US president “made clear the need for Israel to announce and implement a series of specific, concrete and measurable steps to address civilian harm, humanitarian suffering and the safety of aid workers”, the White House said in a statement.

Bill Clinton used his power to take sexual advantage of a low level worker and to distract from this when he was under scrutiny for it, launched military attacks. US presidents use violence against other nations to distract from their failings. This is why Biden is shocked that American people disapprove of his genocidal warmongering because Americans often stick to their presidents in times of uncertainty. Thanks to Palestinians using social media there is nothing uncertain.
+ Obama admitting he killed innocent people by approving drone strikes in Afghanistan and Syria unnecessarily, just to prove to the West he was 'strong enough' or whatever. Our lives are expendable to the West.
It's not even revenge, it's liberation, an end to the genocide and occupation.

Btw all these record-breaking high temperatures we just saw this winter is not removed from the incessant bombing of Ghazzah.
Dropping 7 hiroshimas on 1 city in 6 months is not without environmental consequences for the ENTIRE GLOBE, especially at such a critical time in temperature and emmission control.
The zionist terrorist occupation and the 'American' terrorist empire have jointly fast forwarded us all towards certain ecological doom unless they cease to exist overnight. Which won't happen.
Since so many people are getting on my ass about this.
Sorry, you're right, the bombing campaign might take a bit more before the effects of the carbon emissions caused by the bombings of my family members will have some greenhouse gas effects. I should've also specified 7 non-nuclear equivalents to Hiroshima. I don't want people thinking it was a nuclear bomb that evaporated the Jabaliya refugee camp! That would be disastrous. You never know what strangers' lack of critical thinking and illiteracy will be blamed on a Palestinian's vent post.
Are you happy? Did you enjoy missing the point and derailing to this extent?
You crackers are insufferable.
“Biden is just TRYING HIS BEST!!!” “Would u prefer Trump???” “He’s just one man in a broken system!! Give a little grace!!”
I beg of you not to infantilize this rich white man. Anything but that. We have scraped many lows in the duration time of this genocide, but can we not let making President Biden seem like a Hopeless Little Guy who’s just trying his best be one of them. I keep thinking of this phrase—the blood has not dried yet. Please have some decorum. Please stop thinking exclusively of yourself and how it would benefit you to have him re-elected. It’s disgraceful. Please care for the mass loss of human life.
Also the way some of you are asking Arab Americans to vote for Biden anyway is insensitive on levels I can’t even compute. You’re asking us to vote for a man who’s still freshly soaked in Arab blood, all while he funds the ongoing genocide of Palestinians. We can not want Biden and also not want Trump simultaneously. This is not the take you think it is. If anything, it just comes across as extremely in poor taste. Regardless of whatever politics Biden promotes, we are well within our right not to vote for a genocidal maniac.
the way the war in gaza has been constantly about targeting flour, targeting hospitals, targeting universities, targeting water containers, targeting anything that brings life in order to "thin out the population" and "encourage palestinians to move to tent cities in egypt"
and then you have western media readily calling it a "humanitarian crisis" therefore fulfilling israel's goal of manufacturing a humanitarian crisis. this entire war was with the purpose of collectively punishing a civilian population of 50% children. that's why it was immediately understood and labelled as a genocide by multiple genoide scholars, by the lemkin institute, and is currently on trial for genocide at the hague
like the starvation and the blocking of aid and the dropping of parachuted MREs to just barely salvage the reputation of a few politicians is not a byproduct of the war. it's not collateral damage. it is a central pillar of the genocide. acquiescing to israelis blocking aid by building ports and dropping pallets of food means acquiescing to famine as a strategy instead of trying to stop it. famine is not collateral damage, it is a central pillar of genocide. killing children is not collateral damage. it is a central pillar of the genocide. we don't need hindsight to say this plainly, anyone who denies it now is another pillar of genocide.
In the one hundred fifty days after October 7, Israel killed thirty-one thousand Palestinians, injured seventy-two thousand, displaced 1.7 million, and razed or damaged more than half of Gaza’s buildings. Joe Biden sent over one hundred weapons shipments to Israel during the same stretch. In a recent classified briefing, US officials told members of Congress that the Biden administration approved and delivered more than one hundred separate weapons sales to Israel in the one hundred fifty days after October 7, “amounting to thousands of precision-guided munitions, small diameter bombs, bunker busters, small arms and other lethal aid,” the Washington Post reported on Wednesday. That works out to one new arms deal every thirty-six hours, on average.
