“Next Monday?” She confirms. He just nods, placing the tablet down to settle back into his meditative stance.
“Surely you’ll see him when he visits the monastery,” she tries, “It’s not like he’ll never return.” It’s an honest sentiment but a painful thought, scorching at the firewood of so many other problems.
“In years from now? He is backpacking like all that take sponsored trips away from the monastery.” Ramattra laments, the thought of finding himself under Mondatta in years from now so much worse than the reunion with his brother.
“...” She goes quiet, still searching for solutions.
Now that he thought it, would he be here years from now? Cross legged and close minded to the world, trying to fuzzy himself out of reality twice a day surrounded by unfamiliars and ruled by delusionals? Surely not.
“Well, would you like to stay at the monastery till then? I can come up to meet you instead, Ramattra.”
-Calling an equal ‘master’ and playing at unwanted guard dog-
“I would rather go offline than give Mondatta that much of my personal life.”
-Rummaging an empty script for nonexistent answers-
“What? ... Are you not getting along with Mondatta?”
-Staring at teachings of the Iris as if he prepares to die soon-
“Not in the slightest.”

Having something prepared like that couldn’t have come at any better time.” He eyes the empty bag on the dining table behind her, contents packed away properly. “You do seem… occupied beyond capacity….” He’s sensitive in how he phrases it, but Y/N just waives a hand, “I look like shit.” she quotes Moon, “I have been told-” “You look like shit.” He parrots, to which she chuckles- so overjoyed to hear the break in his sophisticated language- “-now multiple times.” It’s Ramattra’s turn to laugh. An oh so rare occurrence that he finds plentiful in her presence.
